Did exactly what it promised to do. Reduced the red tones in my hair. I had colored my hair light brown over blonde highlights and had lots of red come out. This product with 1 use greatly reduced the red tones and now my hair looks brown not strawberry.

Didn’t work well enough to justify the price. Barely did anything.

I’m not sure how I feel about this, especially given the price. First time using it, I didn’t pay attention to the fact I would need gloves. I thought this would be an easy color gloss conditioner to use in the shower, so using gloves seems kind of silly. However, it will stain your palms and nails and possibly even your shower if you don’t immediately clean up after. It does seem to do an okay job thing, but I keep getting nervous it’s going to stain my shower so I probably don’t leave it on long enough. It’s simply too pricy to be using so nervously.

So I literally had the WORSE experience in February when a hair salon dyed my hair a horrible red/orange color- despite the salon repairing it, and me having to dye it twice more, then going to a different hairdresser to have it professionally done, the orange/red just keeps coming back- I bought this and used it tonight and WOW! I will continue to use it until the bad color grows out!

This dpHUE Gloss+ Toning Purple Conditioner is creamy and sticks to each hair well, ensuring an even toning. The formula is a very blue-purple, which seems to work very well to maintain an ashy, almost platinum blond. If you have a slightly warmer blond you may notice that this toner will cool it down, so be mindful of that. Overall I love the formula, however I am not a fan of the soapy, somewhat floral scent. Still, I think it is a good purchase and worth it even if I have to deal with a smell I do not love.

Works much better than anything else I’ve tried. Lasts a while too!!
