We have two strollers and three floors and to make moving items up and down and around safe and easy, we have a pair of these at each end of every staircase, a hook on each stroller, and a couple spares in the garage. These are the originals and the tension is just perfect on the spring even for one-handed use.FIVE STARS Mommy Hook!!!!!

I used these for a differing use. I have a chicken coop with large locks. I wanted something easy to use, easy to find if I set them down and forget where I left it, and difficult for predators to open. They are easy to handle, secure, and a perfect fit. Both clips are well made and fit securely. They may be called mommy hooks but they have many other uses. I even use one to clip and attach my coop door to the fence when I am cleaning out the run. I even like the foam on them. It keeps my fingers from freezing down that it is getting colder. I can't imagine grabbing them when the snow and ice hit in the winter if they were just metal. My husband found a similar clip at a local hardware type store. He was excited because they were three dollars cheaper. After trying it out I noticed the clip did not fit itself snuggly, there was no foam on it, and it broke within a weak. You get what you pay for.

These are a must have for new moms. I still use mine from when my oldest was a baby and she's about to be 15!

There is a big difference in quality between the Mommy Hooks and the generic ones. I use these hooks every time I use the stroller. So easy to use, great quality, and I can hang pretty much everything (water bottles, bags, toys,etc) from them.

Update on August 22. I bought end of April:Sooo I still love one of them. The second won't close, as the spring seems to be moved. There isn't any weight on the opening, and just the metal bar so I'm not sure why the spring no longer works. I hope there is a way for a replacement. It's less than a month after the return period ended. I ask for a replacement in the question section. I dont see a better way. I hope I can reach the sellers.I love these damn things. I am a mother whose stroller is like my car. I need space and comfort and style. I spent time finding the perfect one, but the new strollers are pretty and durable but not always spacious, especially if it needs to be public transit friendly. These Two Mommy Hooks are life savers. I can go grocery shopping and not have to decide which toy not to bring or taking stuff out of my diaper bag, and I feel like they can hold any amount. I love that confidence.**A tip: for really heavy trips is to place the hooks not on the sides of the handlebar, because it pulls the stroller down and the baby up! But one in the back and one on the side, of the handle of the car seat if that's still attached, or any opening that the hook can fit and bags will hang. Just hook them in different places for balance.

These hooks are oversized and feature a good grip. Works like a carabiner with easy open access. Love these for carrying plastic grocery bags to/from the car. I bring cooler bags to the big box stores to keep items cold; these hooks allow me to hang the cooler bags on the exterior of the cart while shopping so I can keep the cart space-free for other oversized items.
