Best product of its kind
My 15-year old 19 pound cat loves this arch brush! It is much sturdier than the two previous brands that we have bought. The brush is larger and stiffer; and it is designed so that it locks into the base. The base does slide around unless the cat is sitting on it, but you can brace a corner or side under an area rug or a chair leg.She isn't a very playful cat but she does like the butterfly on this.

STURDY AND MY CAT LOVES IT!!
I knew my 12-lb Siamese cat would love one of these, but which one would be large enough? It's very hard to tell from the photos how large the opening is, and most arches seemed to be designed for kittens or small cats. So I want to tell you that this one is 10-1/2 inches from the carpeting to the bottom of the top bristles, and 7 inches between insides of the arch, which gives Misty plenty of room. The product is very sturdy, and it's very easy to just snap the metal ends of the arch into the carpeted base. They do not move, despite quite a bit of rubbing against it and having other toys tugging on the bristles. And it has not tipped over. From where I sit, it's definitely a hit and worth the money.

Worth it
My cats are always getting into things trying to scratch themselves. This works great. The only downside is the butterfly toy is very flimsy and only lasted a couple of play sessions.

Cats love this stupid thing
For some reason my cats love this stupid thing. It's so cheap and poorly made they've just about destroyed it, but I can't get rid of it because they are very attached to it. So don't expect anything high quality but your cats may love it anyway.

My cats favorite "toy"
Its name is Hairy and my cats play on it all the time. They groom their faces on it

Poor Quality
This is already broken where the brush fits into the plastic base. It's flimsy and so lightweight that the whole thing moves when my cat tried to rub on it. The base should be heavier and the plastic not so easy to crack. It isn't worth more than five dollars and I paid nearly thirty. Booo!

My broom-obsessed cat LOVES it!
All of a sudden my cat started flopping herself down in front of the broom or attacking it every time I would go to sweep something. At first, I would kind of play with her by pushing her across the floor but then I'd have to run her off because she wouldn't leave it alone and make a bigger mess of what I was trying to sweep up. She loves to be brushed, too but she never sits still long enough to let me brush her properly. I was going to get her some of those corner groomers but I really don't want to have to mount something on the wall or door frame. I saw this and thought it would be a better solution. Plus it has bristles that are more like her beloved broom. At first she wouldn't even approach it but a little catnip took care of that. Now it's her favorite thing. She flops and rubs on it to her hearts content. She still comes running when I take the broom out but at least now I don't feel bad for running her off so I can sweep.

Cat LOVES It
My 13 year old cat loves it - even before I sprinkled catnip on it. The cat actually uses the pluck carpet it has at the base. Stays in-place. Easy to assemble (its 2 pieces). When the time comes to replace it, I'll definitely be buying this again! :)
