Great fitness tracker with a lot of options
I recently got a fitbit flex from a friend, and while I loved it, i quickly came to realise its limitations and wanted more options, like heart rate monitor and a screen to look at my progress more specifically (in actual numbers rather than dots). This one has all that, and the added benefit of bp monitor, message reading capabilities, and a clean, attractive interface. It looks sleek on, not much wider than the flex's case with a wide variety of colours of bands to choose from. The app also works fine, haven't run into any issues. I want to use both bands for a few days to compare step count, but it seems good so far, and the bp and pulse are accurate. I love having it all there at a touch of a button without having to look at my phone.I've seen complaints that it doesn't hook up to the app, and I was having trouble until I realised that I needed to refresh my bluetooth connection, then select the option to connect to band on the app, rather than "find phone" on the wristband. After I did that, it found the wristband, I selected it, and it connected within seconds.

It's good tracker for the price but it does have its cons.
I've had my Auney for a week now and while it's okay, it isn't great. There are four choices for the Home screen but no way to "lock" it on your screen of choice. I find it constantly changing from version to version as I move throughout the day. The sleep function only tracks during the hours of 10 pm and 7 am, completely useless if you have an odd schedule and sleep outside of those hours. The pedometer seems to convert overall physical activity into steps. I worked a day where I had quite a bit of activity (squatting, repetitive arm movements, lifting, bending etc. but little walking and the tracker showed almost 15000 steps, whereas a normal day of walking for me nets between 8 - 11 k steps. The BP monitor needs to be calibrated and the user manual has no information on how to do that. I only found out by accident when I was trying to navigate the phone app. The screen lights up for about 5 seconds and I can't find a way to change it. Reading an incoming text is almost impossible as the screen goes black by the time your eyes have adjusted enough to read the small text. Overall, it's a good tracker for a beginner or someone who just wants a general idea of their daily activity.

Poor Design and Quality Control
Bought this based on the great reviews. I'm assuming there are some quality control issues. Mine would get stuck on one screen and not scroll through the functions, and text message alerts did not work. I received FB Messenger alerts, but not call or SMS alerts; this was an issue for me because I don't want to have to stop my workouts and pick up my phone to see who's trying to reach me. The charger was also awkward; it consists of two little needle-like brass prongs you have to get just right into the two little holes on the back of the tracker. The holes on mine weren't lined up straight, so the charging prongs would sit crooked causing the tracker to repeatedly pop off the charger at random. Lastly, this tracker did not have a true stopwatch function as stated on the product page; it has a running timer, but not an actual stopwatch. This was the main reason I bought a tracker, because I tend to do my workouts based on time rather than counting reps. The fact that it came with a second band was nice, and the color display is nice too. But neither of those things matter if the tracker doesn't work, won't stay on the charger, and lacks the primary functions you need such as text/call alerts and a stopwatch.I returned this one and got this one AUSUN Fitness Tracker, 107 Plus Heart Rate Monitor Waterproof Activity Tracker Calories Counter Smart Wristband GPS Pedometer Watch Sports Bracelet with Sleep Monitor, Purple which is much better. It has a genuine stopwatch, the call and message alerts work, and it doesn't use prongs to charge. The tracker itself plugs directly into a USB port to charge. I also got the optional accessory bands so I have 5 different colors to interchange/spares if one breaks or shows wear. The display on this one is black and white, but that's a non-issue for me. I'm not watching movies on it, I'm timing workouts and seeing who's calling without stopping to grab my phone.

Minimal instructions and unable to have it sync with my phone!
I failed to open and start using this upon arrival, and by the time I tried to read and follow the instructions I had passed the warranty/return date. I'm not very "tech" savvy - my smart phone is owned by a dumb person! :-) The minimal instructions are of such small font you need a magnifying glass to read them, and they are worthless as far as details. I thought I might find something on YouTube or perhaps even on Amazon, but there are no videos for this particular brand. We have tried to set a 24 hour clock, but haven't been able to sync it with the phone and the fitness tracker. At noon (which the FT apparently thinks is PM/Midnight) the steps go back to zero so keeping track of a daily number of steps isn't easy. I would not purchase this again, but will say if I can fool around with it and get it connected with my phone I'll be a lot happier with it. Price seemed good and the pulse, blood pressure, etc. seem to work okay. I havn't had much time to work with it, but even my much more tech savvy son was unable to get it up and working.
