There are no lids. These are stackable, but not lidded. They seem to move easily.

Q: 10 inches long, 3 inches deep. How wide are they?

Sorry, I've taken so long. These are approximately 3 1/4" wide. I was a little disappointed because I wanted something wider--specifically for the Knorr brand pasta envelopes and eventually found them. The wider ones are 5" wide.
