Poor Decision
Still waiting for some action or legal action by Amazon, this must be rectified. I want a working whistle and the return of my money spent for 4 batteries which I can send back to Amazon. This whistle comes with 4 batteries, #2032. All 4 were tested and totally dead each. Cost of each battery is $6.25 each at Walmart, so I have spent more for battery than cost of whistle. I will send receipts back to Amazon requesting a refund for the batteries. Tomorrow I will try the whistle to learn if it works. IT DOES NOT WORK EVEN WITH NEW BATTERIES. COMPANY SAID THEY WILL NOT COVER COST OF BATTERIES I BOUGHT. No one should buy from this company and Amazon should take action. I want a new whistle that works and my money back. This complaint has been going on now for over a month, I am not going away, this is my 3rd or 4th time complaint about this product

I coach in all environments (indoors, gyms, weight ...
I coach in all environments (indoors, gyms, weight rooms, outdoors) and volume was the main issue with my last electronic whistle (Windsor 3-tone). I needed a whistle to be heard by 100+ students athletes at the same time and so far I am liking this product as the whistle is MUCH LOUDER. The physical feel of the whistle is plastic which gives an initial concern the product it may be delicate (so try not to drop or throw it around). Only time will tell with the longevity of the amount of whistle blasts it'll blow with a new set of batteries (description says 5,000). 4 stars given initially for the volume of the blasts. This whistle can earn 5 stars after using it for a few weeks when coaching...Update: This whistle lasted just about over 1 month. At first I thought the batteries died and so I bought new replacements. Turns out the whistle actually was broken since it would not work with brand new batteries. I'll still give this product 3 stars for how loud it performed (it was heard loud and clear during pre-game for a high school football game).

Whistle is good, but there’s a small design flaw… also buy the batteries online
To those complaining about expensive batteries, don’t buy them in a store. Get them online where they’re actually priced reasonably. The batteries are super expensive in store.Actual review: I really like this whistle. It worked well for a long time. It was loud enough for outdoor use. I coach youth through college and used it regularly for over a year.BUT, it suddenly stopped working while I was coaching so I opened it up and found that the black cylinder in the back had broken wires. I think it’s because it’s free floating inside the whistle so if you shake, drop, or anything else that moves it, the wires will eventually break. I may try soldering them back to see if this is actually the problem. Will update if I remember and get a soldering iron.Suggestion to the maker: Assuming the big black cylinder is the problem, if you just anchor it down, I think many of your complaints will be resolved and you will have a successful product. Also product testing in a real customer situation (coach or player using roughly or dropping a few times) can save/make you lots of money in the long run.

Totally satisfied
This Whistle is twice as load as the Windsor 3 tone. I bought both and returned the Windsor whistle. I use it every day on my job. I love it.Update as of 4-3-2019 This whistle eventually stopped working and the Windsor whistle is still working. Even though tis while is much louder than the Windsor whistle, this whistle will stop working after the return day is over. I waste $60 on 3 of these whistles. I should have stayed with the Windor whistle for longevity.

THEY DON'T LAST!!! JUNK!
I purchased 6 of these whistles. In less than a weeks time, they all stopped working. Some of them I only used a couple of times before the button fails. The issues I was having with them was NOT a battery issue. The button you push for the sound fails....and/or the whole unit just stops working!!!

Fire alarm sounding whistle
Very loud sound which is good for volleyball refs, but sounds more like a fire alarm and not at all like a whistle. Even replaced the battery to make sure this wasn't causing the weird sound. My daughter won't use it because of the tone being off and kinda scary for the players so I'll try another brand.

Soccer refereeing with a face mask whistle
Will work for soccer refereeing Once we return to the game after this pandemic we might all be wearing masks preventing hand held mouth whistles.
