My Doberdork can be hot mess, when it comes to bath time! I was really surprised how easy it was to apply! He was really content after I wiped him down! Even enjoyed the brush that was provided.... I thought wow ! This is going to be excellent!! A Waterless shampoo that smells nice and fresh! The product Cleaned him up nicely. His coat was shiny afterwards. The next day he was super soft and smelled fresh and clean!! Unfortunately late that night. 1230am I woke up to standing next to my bed scratching and whining? I got up and watched my poor guy trying to scratch his front quarters and ribcage area ?? He has never scratched like this before? At first i thought he got stung or bit by something? I was frantically looking him over, that's when he started trying to bite at his chest and upper leg and flank areas. I decided to rush him into the bath !. As much as my dog dislikes the bath he calmed down, I lathered him up with his normal shampoo.... Unfortunately, After i was done drying him out. He was leaning into the towel so hard I realized he was still itchy ? I decided to lightly brush him down and that's when I noticed alot of white flakes? At first I thought maybe it was lint from the towels? But nope it was definitely his skin? I back brushed his fur to get a better look at the area's he was scratching on and noticed tiny reddish bumps on his skin? He has always had a healthy shiny coat no skin issues or allergies. He is 3 years old and has never experienced nothing like this ? So I'm still in shock he had a reaction like this to a product.... I was very excited to try something new just between his bi-monthly baths. Im not sure if a sensitive skin option is available? Not even sure if that would have made a difference? Since he has never had any skin issues before.... Great concept for quick cleanup! Just didnt work for us ... Now I just feel like a horrible Dobermom :(

We have a Great Pyrenees & frequent washings are not recommended but she does get "smelly" at times. What I like most about this waterless dog shampoo is I can brush after spraying liberally over her coat & the hair does not fly everywhere and the pleasant fragrance is also very pleasing. I would have given 5 stars if the bottle had been easier to spray. It was difficult to push & only a small stream would squirt. The third time I used it would not spray at all. Replaced the liquid in a good spray bottle with a full spray and it was so much easier. It is a good product but another spray container would help a great deal.

Rating changed because the pumper failed. Company representative promised a replacement; they never sent it even after I supplied the requested order number.I use this product along with a rubber massage brushing. Talk about doggy heaven! My recently rescued German shepherd mix loves to be spoiled. A smooth and soft coat will result with regular use.A little product goes a long way. I plan on purchasing the gallon jug refill that this vendor offers because there's a frugal side to me.

The scent is well balanced and long-lasting without being overwhelming. I've tried a few shampoos to spot clean and combat regular dog body odors, dry skin, including a foaming dry shampoo. This is our new favorite dry shampoo because I spray it directly onto the dogs' coats and get a fine mist with mostly even coverage, which is nice with the thicker coat. Sometimes I don't even brush it into their coat. The mist doesn't add any stickiness to the coat but I can't tell if fur is any softer. The scent can be a bit strong in the bottle and when first applied, but then it mellows and stays longer than our previous dry shampoo (two days) as well as an odor-specific wet shampoo (four days). Fluffy got compliments on his scent even a few days after his last spritz and a hot and heavy play date earlier that day.

I tried. I really did. I hate to leave a negative review, but this product just didn't work as I hoped it would. I have 2 male Yorkies. They are "hair challenged" when it comes to urination. I was hoping this product would keep me from having to bathe them so frequently. Instead, it left them with sticky, perfumy-urine smelling hair on their bellies & front legs. I worked the product through their hair well, wiped it with a clean cloth to help remove some dirt & urine, then blow-dried it. Stiff & sticky. I tried it 3 different occasions w/the same result. If I still had the box, i would return it. Sorry, but I wasted my money on this one.

In my humble opinion this is a wonderful product. Shipping was super fast and included an added bonus of dog litter bags inside a plastic bone (cute!). My dog tolerated the application well and the scent is very pleasant. I found the bottle a little hard to use one handed (had to hold the puppy still with the other hand). However, overall the application was smooth and left my puppy smelling wonderful. Many thanks.

So my dogs hate baths so I purchased this. I received it today and then I read the back label that this is my pet’s Best friend in between baths and grooming visits. When I saw this listing and decided this was something I wanted to try it was with the understanding that this was a REPLACEMENT for baths and grooming. Surprise. It’s not. So I’ll update this review once I do. I have to bathe my dogs the old fashioned way and then in a week when they would normally get another bath I will try this product.Also there was a bit of leakage in the bag. I think when they put the aqua marine colored band over the bottle to attach the free gift it squeezes the bottle and a good bit of the product gets expelled. I would suggest coming up with a different way of attaching the gift (maybe on the neck) and wrapping the bottle up to protect it.

Perfect product for my dog that is scared of water! It smells great and makes her coat shiny. I love that they also included the poop bag dispenser and bags as a bonus, those always come in handy. This is my second time trying Lillian Ruff products and I have not been disappointed!
