These enable you to update your house to cope with the modern world.
These came in a pack of two. The overall impression you get is that they are a neat package and very well made.They have a removable frame which means that when you come to paint your walls you will be able to maker a neater job than usual.I tried to fit them them but had a minor snag. I switched off the electricity, removed the old socket but was unable to go further. I found that because these have extra electronics at the back they did not fit into the shallower style back box fitted to my house. This is not a problem at all: a replacement back box is very easily available and cheap to buy. I will just have to try again later.In the process of trying to fit this, I did find that the holes for the wires in the socket are a good size, the screws are substantial, suitable for flat screwdrivers or crosspoints, and the wiring can be properly secured.One possible issue that might be of concern to some is that if you use the type three pin plug where the wiring is directed upwards ( eg a transformer type plug for a lamp) then this will obscure access to the USB ports. Also I was left wondering whether, because the USB transformer is permanently wired in , this arrangement uses more electricity than the older system where you pull out the charger plug after use.My overall impression is that these are a very well made set of plugs and will enable me to update my house to cope with the modern world and reduce the number charger plugs around the house.

Good quality product
I've just installed these in my boats 240v system and they have done the job very well.Installation was very easy, I was done within 10 mins.The usbs work very well and even charge my sons iPad pro.Very happy

Good looking modern sockets!
This set of two sockets came nicely and professionally packed in a good looking printed cardboard box.Good specification on the USB sockets with 3.4A and up to 17W of 5v charging power available.Fitting was easy and sockets attached into my existing single socket boxes without any problems, although you may need to change the boxes if you're using the shallow types.Once installed the sockets are finished off with a nice cover plate that hides the screws.All moulding is nicely finished with no obvious flash or rough spots.A good value upgrade socket for the home installer!
