The light has the same visual look as the old neon version that I have mounted right next to it.

Just a quick response to a couple reviews I read here; someone had said they aren't sure why it works if no neutral leg.....so, it works by the back-feed of current through the load, i.e. an incandescent bulb has a filament, completing the circuit. Likewise, the pilot light is neon, so indeed, some flickering can be normal, though it seems Leviton may be a little worse for it, I've seen it in Arrow-Hart as well. Wish Amazon would make available any remaining Hubbel-Bryant devices that are lighted toggle; these are green illumination, I suspect they're LED, or a better neon. We've used these extensively, and have 0 failures of the illumination [or switch, for that matter.]
