KC Natural - Carrup - Paleo AIP No Tomato Ketchup - 14 oz (2 Pack)

This product is a great substitute for regular Ketchup; I can't have any tomato products, anymore, because I have GERD, so this is a great substitute to have, so I can still make the recipes I'm used to eating. It tastes a little bit different, which is to be expected, but it has such an interesting taste that I can combine it with other sauces & such, still enjoy the food I like to eat :) I even eat it on turkey franks, sometimes, all by itself :)

As an AIPer for a long time. Although you can add foods back in I feel better when I stick to a diet that doesn’t have nightshades and foods that cause inflammation. I use this sauce in soups and sandwiches. It adds a little zing.

My wife and I absolutely love this stuff! It's great tasting and wonderful for my autoimmune diet. Hence the 4 stars only because it's a bit pricey so we try to use it in moderation. I'd suggest it to anybody on a special diet or not.

This product has a great flavor for use with anything you would put ketchup on. However, it is not like ketchup. It does separate out after a little while if sitting.It’s flavor is more tangy than ketchup but that’s not in a bad way. It’s just in a different way.

I can’t have tomatoes, & miss ketchup on burgers. I finally tried it. You get them in a 2pk (which is why I hesitated) & it’s not bad. It’s not ketchupy either. It has more of a tangy flavor. If you want something close to ketchup, this is not it. If you want a bit of tangy sweetness on your burger, this will work fine. It was pretty pricey, so it’s doubtful I’ll buy it again unless they start selling them singularly.

Great product. All natural ingredients and it tastes good, but my bottles arrived broken twice. They need to pack them better and/or sell them in a better jar. The jar is really thin glass and the cap is kinda flimsy. I attempted to contact the company, but no one has responded yet. I'm still giving it a 5 stars because it's an unique product and we needed something like this which is great for all of us suffering from food sensitivities, from nightshade sensitivities.

Just getting into a low histamine diet by necessity. I'm trying to find substitutions that allow me to still enjoy familiar foods and and all the comfort that comes with them.I am pleasantly surprised by this product. Though somewhat different from the tomato version, to my taste, just as good.I have added other spices to it and have come up with a pretty good steak sauce as well. So it works as a base upon which to create.It is pricey, but hopefully that will change.

Finally, I can eat my fries without people giving me the side eye for dipping them in plain mayo. And for the first time no one is judging me for the lack of ketchup on my burger. It's amazing how normal I feel now that I have Carrup in my condiment supply. I feel accepted now thanks to Carrup!
