Polti Vaporetto Comfort Steam Cleaner, Black/Silver by Vaporetto

After my 6 year old Vax Steamer gave up, I was unsure what steamer to replace it with. Being no stranger to Polti steamers, as my mum as had once for as long as I can remember but was always to expensive for me (when I bought my Vax which cost £150 the cheapest Polti was well over £200!) When I saw this one for £65 I had to have it. I was of course worried about the quality of it being so cheap, but knowing how good a brand Polti always has been I descided to take the risk and I'm so glad I did.The quality of all the parts are MILES better than my old Vax and I love how all the attachments are stored in the storage compartment underneath the device and how you can clip the brush on to the back for storage.The only down side is the pressure is not as strong as my old Vax, but its fine for me as I never had the Vax up at full strength anyway and I knew the pressure would not be as strong from reading the listing.For the price and quality I'm very happy with my purchase of this item.I steam absolutly everything in my house, kitchens, bathrooms, ceilings, walls, floors, windows, doors, curtains, mattresses etc. I've even steamed inside the car.

I searched for a steam machine that would be most versatile, and I think I found it in the Polti Vaporetto Comfort. The machine does leave surfaces wet, but a quick wipe with a microfibre cloth soon remedies that. I found that it cleaned the grouting between the tiles in the bathroom beautifully, getting rid of some rather nasty marks, and my hob and eye level grill sparkled like new. I would never class myself as a domestic godess, having more interesting things to do than cleaning, but this little machine makes the essential work go so much faster - and without some of the more caustic cleaning chemicals. The machine does not take up too much storage space, either, which is a bonus.

My last polti after years of use sprung a leak and searched all reviews and prices.I love this new polti as I did the previous one.The bonus with this one is the storage for all the brushes etc.Very handy.It takes a lot to run the steamer out and having 3 dogs I do use this on all carpets to freshen up nasty smells.Would definitely recommend it and have already to friends

Tried this machine on carpet and it's not bad at all. But I'm a wee bit disappointed with result when cleaning cooker grease. Steam has to be applies for quite some time before you see a difference. Nonetheless, I would still recommend this product.

This little machine is just the best thing ever! Easy and light to use, and particularly good on wooden floors. It's fine on the stairs, and I think will be great for the car. We keep it downstairs for the hard floors and we use our "big" cleaner for the carpets upstairs. The one thing that could be improved is the length of cable. Would highly recommend.

Love this little steam cleaner. Its light and compact and easy to move around. I had a larger Polti model several years ago but it final broke down but i must say i find this machine a lot easier to use as its so much lighter. Yes it does throw out water if you've left if standing for a few minutes but it easy to have a bowl or an old towel to hand to catch such. Certainly takes the hard work out of a lot of cleaning jobs. Team the steam with an e-cloth and you have a super finish. Excellent delivery service from Amazon

Bought the polti, it has succeeded in Its first week, cleaning a corner lounge suite and mattress that has been in a storage shed, taken away the musty mouldy smell they had aquired, good on the windows front, now working it's way through the freezer defrosting is so much easier, we are really pleased with the steamer, going to tackle the stone tiles and grout next in the shower,its been well worth it

Very flimsy compared to the very first politi steamers

I was a little dubious but this machine is great have recommended to all my family and it is saving me money on cleaning products already.

I brought this for my mum for her birthday as I have one and think its great. Makes cleaning my bathroom and kitchen much easier .

Returned this item it was very small not what I expected.

Quicker to use a wet cloth, very bad!!

It takes time warming up, and has a tendency to use too much liquid at the start of each mop, but is far more durable than the one it replaced.

Very compact, easy to use and at a very good price.
