Does a good job as a battery maintainer/trickle charger.
So far so good, been using it as a battery maintainer on 12 volt lawn mower batteries. The reason for one star deduction are the clips, wish they had a better/stronger spring for more positive grip on battery terminals. Being that lawn mower batteries have the thin blade type terminals, have to move the clips around some till they make good contact with the terminals for the charger to start charging. I suspect batteries with the bigger post terminals the clips would grab on better.Incidentally, the negative reviews that the charger does not work could be because a battery has to have some charge in it for most chargers to work, if its stone cold dead, not the fault of the charger.

Battery saver
I bought this for my neighbor because I am tired of their golf cart sitting in my shop charging every year because the battery has depleted. They are not very tech savvy so I needed a product of good quality but easy to use. This nailed the criteria and did so at an exceptional price.

Just what was needed
Bought to replace the wall wart that came with my electric-start-only whole-house generator. The original was just a 12V DC transformer with no regulation that the manufacturer called a 'charger'. It probably led to the early demise of the battery, which meant, with no pull start, there was no generator.Expect this to maintain battery's charge without destroying it.

Pure junk
Finally got around to using these and that was a joke. I bought 2 of these to maintain my bike batteries a keeps thing they are 6v. Holding mode button did nothing. Trying to charge ac12v with a 6v charger surely not gonna work. Guess I should tried them as soon as I got them. Pure junk at this point.
