Great polish - removes tarnish easily
I purchased this to try cleaning up the tarnish on my Tudor Black Bay 58 925 watch, which has a sterling silver case. I wear the watch almost daily, so it gets a ton of use and is a little beat up.I was a little hesitant to try it, given the cost of the watch and fact that it supposedly is made with an unusual silver-aluminum alloy that resists tarnishing. I wasn’t sure if there would be an adverse reaction that wouldn’t occur with traditional silver alloys.I was very careful to avoid getting anything on the anodized aluminum bezel insert because I read some tarnish removers can harm anodized coatings, but the watch case turned out amazing. I didn’t have to buff it much, and the tarnish wiped right off, leaving a black mark on the cloth.I’m hopeful that this polish will help resist future tarnishing because the watch looks great when it’s clean. Way more lustrous than steel versions of it.On a related note, I find that Cordura straps cause the watch lugs and case immediately around the strap to tarnish rapidly. It’ll be an interesting test to see if this happens less after using this product.

Made my silver look new.
Inherited quite a few silver pieces and they were very tarnished. This worked wonders and very quickly. It has a pretty strong odor when using so turn on a fan or open a window when cleaning but can’t complain as it works very well. The first picture is of a silver and glass coaster that I cleaned months ago. Originally you could barely make out the words and design against the dark wood but after cleaning they stand out nicely. Second picture is of another piece and a tiny bell I cleaned months ago, just now starting to tarnish. The jewelry holder is from a flea market (not even sure it’s silver) and was basically black when I bought it. I am happy with this cleaner.

Easy to use, smells toxic tho. Cleans stains like a charm. Used on cheap jewelry and silver
Its works very well and has a size that will last you forever. Easy to use, great price to restore old silver, zinc alloy, or other fast fashion cheapy materials. Good durable bottle to prevent leas, too. However, reason for taking one star off, is that it doesn't list ingredients, and it smells very toxic. I am 100% sure the fumes are toxic. So of course, use in a well ventilated area, or even better outside! Worked well for me on my super tarnished cheap material pendants. Also, it does require a bit of rubbing to clean it off thoroughly

Polish Your Pins, Not Your Patience
Why, oh why, did I wait so long to buy this? I don’t use it on traditional jewelry like a normal person—nope, this baby is strictly reserved for my ridiculous enamel pin collection. And let me tell you, it’s a game-changer. My rose gold pins in particular? They look so good now, they’re practically bragging from the display board.Speaking of display boards, this cleaner is my secret weapon for keeping my hundreds (yes, hundreds) of pins looking like they just came off the press. It’s quick, easy, and lasts forever. I’ve polished my entire collection and still have enough left for another round or two of pin pampering. Even East Coast humidity hasn’t dulled their shine! The only downside? It smells like it was brewed in a potion lab run by ogres. But I’ll endure it for the magical transformation it delivers—it’s like watching my pins get a Cinderella moment. If you’re a fellow enamel pin enthusiast tired of them looking less “collector’s item” and more “thrift shop find,” grab this cleaner and prepare for the glow-up of a lifetime. Your pins will thank you—silently, but you’ll know.

Works great but does have a strong odor
This product does work very well. I received a family tray that had been horribly neglected. It was heavily black. Let me say…it works great. I love Hagerty line of products. I recommend using them. What you need to know is how to use them to make them work best for you.I cleaned a lot of neglected silver and found a method that worked great with these two Hagerty products: the Hagerty Silver Foam and the Hagerty Silversmiths’ Polish.I initially started with the Silversmiths’ Polish. I used blue automotive paper towels and wore latex gloves. I quickly noted the extreme smell other reviewers mentions. It was so bad that it caused my nose to burn. I looked over the bottle and was surprised not to find precautions listed. (I highly recommend wearing gloves and using in a well ventilated area. Dispose of the paper towels in an outside trash can when done.)The Siversmiths’ Polish is also anti-tarnish, which I believe is where the odor comes from. I decided to switch to the Silver Foam. Yes, no odor…and it takes much less product to actually clean. So this is a win. My nose isn’t burning, and I’m not using a ton of product. With the Silver Foam, which works amazing as well, continue to use the latex gloves and blue automotive towels, etc. When you have the piece of silver as clean as you want (no longer have black coming off), rinse off with water and dry.Now it’s time to use the Hagerty Silversmiths’ Polish. This will give it one last good cleaning and put a coat of anti-tarnish on it. Remember to do this with your latex gloves in a well ventilated area.If you store your silver pieces, remember to wrap them in flannel or cheese cloth and place in an anti-tarnish bag or use anti-tarnish strips to help prevent tarnishing.I have not received any compensation for my review. I’m just giving my feedback on my experience with the product. I hope this helps you with your decisions.
