Pleased with product but getting the right size was pure luck
I like the replacement insoles but I don't know if I can be much help to reviewers in determining what size would fit them because I THOUGHT I was buying a Womens size but what arrived said "mens 8.5). With all this said I am using the insoles inside a pair of (very small-sized) men's snow boots and for that application they just fit. Some info about my shoe size in case it helps other reviewers decide what will work for them--I wear a women's 8.5 Wide shoe/boot/sneaker and generally have to go up a half size in women's shoes that do not come in wide width. I can wear a "men's" (to me they are more like very large size junior boys/young men's) shoe in sizes ranging from 6 to 7.5 (closer to a 6 without thick socks). The boots in which I am using these are "men's" size 6.5 and they fill the entire boot just up to the toe. Please keep in mind that these are "sheepskin" attached to a felt sole by basting/overhand stitches along the perimeter of the insoles. So if you buy a size that is too large and want to cut them down I would recommend that you have some basic sewing skills (I have NONE) in order to reattach the fuzzy sheepskin sole to the felt undersole. I have worn the boots only twice so far with the insoles inserted so far and they do seem to keep the soles of my feet a bit warmer than the boots did previously. The boots are fairly inexpensive big box store brand and they do not have much padding in the footbed, so I used to get a lot of ice/snow buildup on the bottom/outside of the boot as my warm foot pressed against the inside of the boot. This doesn't happen as much with these insoles inserted. I have noticed that my feet tend to ride up higher in the boots now because the insoles add thickness. This is only a little bit of an issue for my right foot which is larger than the left and has one toe knuckle that bends into the top of the boot surface. If you are a person who notices pressure on your instep from the top of your shoes/boots you might want to consider whether to get a product that you can try on in your shoes first. For me, I can work with the tightness.Since I have worn the insoles only twice I can't comment on how well they will hold up but for now they do give me some warmth in the footbed that I didn't have previously.

They work for me
They did perfectly inside my ll bean slippers. They were a bit thick at first but are now much better after use for a week or 2. I would order them again.

Good product
I am using this to fix my Acorn slippers that have finally worn out on the bottom. These insoles are perfect for the job as they are thick and have a good bottom to them. With these and a little shoe goo on the outside, my slippers will last me a bit longer!
