This handmade ceramic dish is made of black earthenware clay which looks very ancient and cool with like these blazing colors. Due to its handmade nature it is a unique piece. The glaze that i used is food safe. Each item is made one by one at hand with much love and care. The making of ceramic has too many stages. First clay gets its form, the object is let to dry a few days, then imperfections are retouched and it goes into the kiln. It is fired at 1000 degree Celcius (1900 Fahrenheit). After first firing it is ready to glaze. After the glaze has dried it is fired again at 1050 degree Celcius (1922 Fahrenheit). After another 19-20 hours of firing and cooling it is ready.
