The Thermo Scientific Orion Star A113 Dissolved Oxygen Meter is a benchtop dissolved oxygen (DO) and temperature meter with automatic temperature, manual salinity input, and manual barometric pressure compensation to ensure accuracy. The meter can be calibrated by the water-saturated air method or Winkler titration method. The LCD screen displays icons, messages, and information such as DO reading in mg/L or % saturation, temperature in °C or °F, meter mode, and battery life. The ready indicator shows when readings are stable, and the memory holds up to 50 data points. The meter takes an Orion polarographic DO probe (sold separately) and runs on AC power via the universal power adapter (included) or on four AA batteries (sold separately). The electrode arm with holder (included) helps to place and maintain probes in samples. The meter housing has Ingress Protection 54 (IP54) to withstand splashes and can be wall-mounted to save table space.
