2 Sets 150 Filter Replacement for Coway Airmega 150 Air Purifier, 2 Green True HEPA and 8 Active Carbon Filter, AP-1019C-FP

I have an Air Mega 400s, and was put off by the manufacturers filter pricing so I came to Amazon. Found these, bit the bullet based on reviews. They are the real deal! Fit perfect, work exactly the same as OEM.

I have bought these multiple times for my air purifier. Seems to work great.

I really like my hepa air cleaner, but like anything that can help you be healthier, that comes at a sometime higher price. I bought these through the clearance side of Amazon so I guess I shouldn't necessarily expect these to be brand new, never used. 2 of the 4pk were opened & just placed inside a clear wrapper, the other 2 are sealed & appear to be factory fresh. I can't say positively that 1 or both of the opened filters were used, they did not have a brand new appearance to them, but I got a pretty good price for this set of 4. I've been needing to clean or replace the current set, as we've had a horrible, HOT & super dry summer so I cleaned up the system, cleaned the initial mesh pre-filter & threw in the "open" filters. Seem to work well, just not sure that these weren't already used by a prior customer.

Looks and feels identical to the original. Charcoal amount and type appears identical.HOWEVER, when inserting into Coway 400, it is noticeably tighter than the original. Units with the original filters in them make a high-pitched noise (that bothers some people and not others). This noise 95% goes away when switching to Cabiclean filters on the same Coway 400 unit.I have extras of the original filters; probably I will try some weather stripping on them to see if I can get them to perform as good as these ones with regard to noise. That way, I can use them without being annoyed for a year before going back to Cabiclean.

I had used Cabiclean's filters for the smaller Airmega air purifiers, and so I thought when it came time to replace the larger 400 model's filters, I'd find the Cabiclean filters more affordable and serviceable. However, within a couple of minutes of installing the replacement, it triggered our smoke detectors to go off. Fanning the detector and opening the windows did not cease the alarm, so I eventually had to deactivate the alarm while trying to figure out what was happening.I did end up seeing some reviews for this product that complained of chemical smells, and my instinct is that that is what caused the alarms to go off. I am requesting a refund and have placed an order for the official set of filters, despite them being much pricier.

These high quality air filters replicate the OEM product and fit exactly as the OEM product does. They have the same heft (probably the carbon content), and feel nearly identical to the OEM filters that Coway produces at a fraction of the price. I would recommend giving these a try before sticking with a set of filters that cost $100+ every year. I've had my AIRMEGA 400s for nearly 6 years and love them but their filters are extremely pricey. This is a good option to keep costs low while still giving a great filtered experience.
