Got this for the symbols
I work with adults with disabilities, and was asked to find a med box that was easier to read. There wasn't an issue with days of the week, it was more the coloring of old box. I found this one, and the lettering is still clear to read, but the symbols and colors help! Each little door includes a picture of the sun, yellow in color, perfect for mornings - or the moon, blue in color, excellent for night time! This box makes it more clear of what you're taking, and at time if day. I think its also helpful when setting up meds for the week. I like that you can pop out individual days to carry in pocket or purse, making it more discreet if taking meds out in community, and so you don't have to take entire box to a restaurant or something. Its inexpensive, easy to read in multiple ways, and effective.

Exactly what I needed
I was surprised at the size of this pill holder but that's my own fault for not paying attention to the dimensions given on the website. However, for me it is perfect because I only have three prescription medications and three vitamin supplements and they fit fine in each little daily container. I used to have all six bottles sitting on my end table so now this nice little container fits the area much better.A nice feature is that the daily segments can be popped out if you're going away for just a couple - three days rather than have to pack the full container. And if you need it, the day is also in Braille - another thoughtful feature for the sight impaired.

Best pill box around
7 day pill box works great for me. I like that the compartments can detach and can be put in your pocket or purse. I used one of these for several years before I had to replace it. The compartments are labeled AM and PM. Good product snaps tightly.

Hold a large amount of pills but having to pry the lid open is a bit of a drawback
Our old medicine storage containers have reached the end of their lives. They held up almost four years, but unfortunately I cannot find them anymore. These are a good replacement. I especially like the different colored lids that make it easy to distinguish between daytime and nighttime medications. My husband takes 11 medications in the morning and 13 at night and all the pills and capsules fit fine. The only thing I don't like is that you have to pry open the lid to get to the pills. My old containers had a tab that you pushed and these don't but it's a small thing. They were packaged nicely and there was no chemical smell. I washed them before using dried them thoroughly. So far they seem to do their job just fine.

Near-perfect
Out of all the twice-a-day pill organizers on Amazon, I think this one is by far the best. The plastic feels thick and high-quality, especially for the relatively-low price. I like how the day/night colors are very distinct from eachother (I got the blue/yellow one). And I love how each day piece not only snaps out, but also easily clicks back into place and *stays* in place, which makes it extremely easy to refill and move the entire thing around. This was my main beef with pretty much every other "removable day pieces" pill sorter on Amazon: while others are more compact which is a plus, most of them are essentially seven individual daily pill organizers that all sit loosely inside of one large container. This means that whenever you have to refill them, you have to pour all the little containers out, fill each one, and then reorganize them back into the large container. It's not a huge deal or anything, but I find this to be clunky and annoying in practice, I just hate fiddling with little things in general. On the other hand, this product looks and functions exactly like any standard pill organizer. The day pieces don't pop out unless you *want* them to pop out - they click into place perfectly (you can flip the entire thing upside-down and shake it, and they won't fall out), while still being easy to take out when needed. Because I take my pills at home a majority of the time, this is perfect for me. I like the option of grabbing one day piece when needed, but I especially appreciate how this feature isn't prioritized like it is with most of the other removable-day-piece organizers. While I really love this thing and highly recommend it, I do have one complaint: I hate how the days of the week are written as Sunday-Saturday on the base. I'm a creature of habit, and when it comes to pill organizers I'm a Monday-Sunday guy through-and-through. In fairness, you can just rearrange the day pieces if you want, but the text printed on the base can't be changed (it's also worth mentioning that there's braille printed on the base as well, which is a very nice touch). I'll probably just end up whiting the text out or covering it or something honestly. I really wish this company sold M-Su *and* Sa-Su options for each organizer, or designed it so the base could be swapped around just like the day pieces. But despite being annoying to me, it's really not a big deal. Again, this pill sorter is fantastic, inexpensive, and absolutely worth buying.

Very helpful, sturdy and great value.
I have used this type of pill box for several years. I love them. I purchased two of these large pill boxes. One in blue/purple and one in blue/yellow. I take seizure medication and two types of insulins. The fast acting insulin when I need it and the slow acting inulin every day at AM & PM. With the two medical issues, I can't afford to miss my medication. Being a senior citizen, we sometimes forget things. So I decided to use the blue/purple box for only AM medications and the blue/yellow for PM medications. I use a color code system but I also write on the end of the box which box is for AM or PM medications. Each box has AM & PM on them but I use them this way. In the box (blue/purple) labeled AM, I put my morning pills in the AM slot and I put a insulin needle in the PM slot. Then in the box (blue/ yellow) labeled PM, I put my PM pills in the AM slot and I put a insulin needle in the PM slot. If I every wonder if I took my pills or insulin, all I have to do is look in the box for that day. I have used this system for several years. It also helps my children know whether I have taken my pills or insulin. These pill boxes are very sturdy, useful, and worth the money. They meet my needs.
