I do not recommend this product
It’s garbage. Do not waste your time ordering this camera. I ordered two of them and both have abruptly stopped working all together. My WiFi is functioning just fine. The FDT app has a very LOW rating as well which I did not pay much attention too unfortunately. I’ve emailed the FDT manufacturer but I’m not very optimistic. I found it odd that BOTH outdoor cameras stopped working.

Great WHEN IT WORKS!
This camera is great and I was very happy with it when it was working. After some months the camera simply stopped being able to identify or connect to a WiFi network. After much troubleshooting, I sent it back as it was still under warranty.The company was quite he'pful and did send me a replacement device, however i woke up over the last weekend and same thing has happened to the new camera! It can't see any WiFi and thus has become useless as being wireless is its main attraction.FDT needs to fix this disappearing WiFi issue.

Latest Firmware Update Changes Image Sensor Settings
Before the latest update, I could use the camera at night with the IR mode turned off. There are some situations where IR isn't needed or required. With it off, however, the image sensor sensitivity is up so high that the entire image is a colorful noisy mess--something that makes motion-detection software record non-stopped. Previously, it would just give a black image (unless there was enough light to show something on the image).

Had this for almost a year then it totally failed, all functions ceased, would not buy again!

Worst Customer Service Ever
Camera stopped working after 8 months. Talked to customer service for over an hour. They agreed to send a replacement. Nothing. Contacted customer service again and was told that I should request a replacement. From who!!!
