Tartufata - Black Truffle and Mushroom Sauce 90g

Really tasty tartufata, pleased to find online as can be difficult to find truffle products in my local shops. I always keep at least one truffle infused oil in my pantry as although pricey a little goes a long way and with judicious use can really bring a meal to life. Unfortunately this didn't pack quite as much of a truffley punch as I'd hoped for but came in a very pleasingly presented jar. Would make an excellent topping for Bruschetta or a very decadent pesto for pasta but in terms of value for money I'll be sticking to truffle oil.

This sauce was superbly delicious and concentrated in flavour, so much so, that only a spoonful was needed to make scrambled eggs (x4) taste out of this world ! The rest of the sauce was used with potatoes which again made them taste so different and delicious. Best of all it means that first class food can be enjoyed at home.

Thought I would try it to see what the taste is like.At first, I was not too keen on the taste,but after a couple of mornings[a teaspoon full] spread on toast with some boiled egg,the taste grew to my liking.Compliments meats,stir in scrambled eggs ect.

Real good, just like the one I had in Italy. t's delicious in a Panini or with Pasta

Lovely taste. They need to sell it in bigger jars.

Tastes great but was hoping for a stronger truffle flavour. I'll have to buy the oil next time.
