I've been searching & tried many 30 pin to Bluetooth adaptors for my Yamaha pdx-31 speaker. None have worked. Almost gave up to consign the excellent speaker to the trash. Last change salon was this £15 purchase. It worked straight out of the box. Paring was easy. Not only that; and here's the real bonus, ALL the remote control features work too. I now have a top end, great sounding speaker and that' bought this speaker (and my apple products linked to it) back into the 21st century.There have been issues trying to find Bluetooth receivers that work on this device. Stop searching. Buy this, it works with 100% functionality.

I have a Sony sound system with 30 pin Ipod dock that I thought I may need to discard when I got myself a new Ipod with lightening adapter. I checked Amazon and found a Dusk 30 pin adapter that acts as a breach between the Ipod and the units 30 pin connector (hard connection). This had received mixed reviews but for the price I thought it was worth a try. In fact it worked but reduced the volume down significantly which saved me throwing my old Sony system away, but took the shine away from using it. HOWEVER! - I later spotted this bluetooth adapter (also by Dusk) on Amazon and the reviews were excellent so I gave it a go. All I can say is Fantastic!!! It connects my new Ipod straight to my old Sony system and the quality is flawless with no loss of sound volume or quality. Even better, *I can now connect my Android phone and my wife's to my old Sony system something that I could not do before. I guess that you will need to check other reviews to make sure your device is compatible, but for me this has been a revelation. Many thanks DUSK!!!

Like many families we have multiple makes and types of mobile phones. As not all of them are now Apple devices it seemed a shame that not everyone could use the dock speakers that we use in our conservatory and which work very well. Being reluctant to throw anything away I hadn't thought of using a convertor until my 13 year old daughter suggested it ( why are they so techno savvy ) enter stage right the DUSK Bluetooth adapter. It arrived very quickly and I was surprised how small and neat the unit is, it took all of 2 minutes to unwrap it , plug it into the speakers in place of the phone and then pairing it with my phone. Voila - music ! what a very neat solution , it has paired easily with all our mobiles ( 4 different makes) and the quality of the sound with my unit is as good as when directly connected. All in all I am over the moon that this cheap and simple fix has meant we can continue to use a favourite bit of kit. Photo attached to show how neat it is, shocking camera on my phone but then I can get a new phone now and carry on playing my music.

Wow: very happy as I can finally play my music from my tablet or phone on the cinema set. Great as years ago I ripped all my CDs and by now they are all boxed somewhere in the attic. It is smaller than I thought it would be and was very simple plug and play. Two small cons: the volume has to be up quite loud which in itself no big deal but we'll have to be very careful when switching to DVD or TV as that will be way too load. Also: the cinema set does not switch off as it senses an Ipod docked so the only way to turn it off is to unplug this little adapter. Otherwise very happy indeed!

great little piece of kit, straight out of package into dock of my iPhone 4 hi fi system, hooked up with my iPhone 5 on bluetooth in literally less than a minute. It transformed my dusty hi fi that I couldn't use anymore without an adapter into a great hi fi again, seamlessly streaming music from my phone wherever I am in my flat, pumping out of my rather brilliant speakers (sorry neighbours) all over Bluetooth so I don't have to dock my phone and keep running through to see what notifications I got! So pleased with it I bought my friend one too.

I bought this to see if it would work with my BMW/Mini Y cable. So, as opposed to plugging my phone in I would link via the Bluetooth of the Dusk. I wasn't expecting this to work with the compatibility issues that exist with BMW/Mini systems, similar Bluetooth devices that do work with the Y cable are circa £50-60. But, surprisingly, it did and it works well. Easy to pair with connection almost immediate, great bit of kit.

Great little device that will stream your music content through a Bluetooth connection from your mobile to 30 pin audio equipment. When my iPhone was upgraded from a 30 pin connection to a micro USB the audio equipment became redundant but this little gem has meant that I can now still use my phone (internet etc) as well as listen to music as the phone is not docked and there are no adaptors or trailing wires. The one negative would be that as it is not password protected there is now a squabble over who is connecting to listen to there music (not great when you have a 12 year old daughter). If only Carlsberg made daughters that liked ACDC.

I used this for my 2011 BMW because I didn't want to change the factory look of my stereo and interior. It's plugged into the BMW aux/USB adapter cable and used on the 'aux' radio function. For $20 you can't go wrong. It connects to my phone when I get in the car and I use my Apple Watch to control my phone so it does what I hoped it would do. The watch also acts as the speakerphone for phone calls and the caller is heard through the speakers. Also, I don't notice any sound quality loss.
