3 M Protective VentureShieldTM 120 MM x 1000 MM-Clear - 3MTM VS7510 E

Used this on my brand new car, to protect the paintwork on the boot lip.I put rucksack , bike etc in most weekends.And people kept dragging rucksack straps, boots over the new cars boot lip.The protectors you get from manfacturers never cover the boot lip !This Ventureshield is totally clear , and is - tricky to put on , but with patience , it's doable.And very tough !So my paint is now protected.It can be removed with hair dryer and easing it off.But , you can only see the ends - if you look very closely.

I bought this to protect the rear bumper of my new car. I watched videos and bought a little squeegee thing and went for it. I made sure I sprayed plenty of soap solution but DISASTER lots of smear marks underneath the film which looked terrible. This is called slivering apparently and more noticeable on dark cars. Where there was no slivering the film looked great so user error unfortunately. I had to pull it off and sadly bin it in the end. Best left to the professionals I think.

Venturesheild is not a quick product to apply correctly so worth watching a few youtube videos. I've used a few other 3M (heli tape) films on my bike and car to protect from bike rack damage and they were OK but didn't stick to well. You have to apply wet and use a smoothing tool. The result is excellent. Wish it was cheaper.

Very easy to install on flat areas, no so good on curved areas or those with a small upstand

Awful product ended up throwing it away as crying it was a nightmare .

This is NOT 3M ventureshield... Retuning to amazon i think they get around it by
