As you can see I had a red I my hair. Unfortunately I woke up to extremely greasy hair this morning so it doesn't quite do the justice of how red it was. I could've lived with it though, had the dye given full coverage. It ended up an extremely patchy job on top of the fact the colour hadn't quite turned out as expected. I wanted a deeper mahogany and when it's freshly washed it's quite a garish red.So! After reading through a lot of the comments about this colour removal product I decided to go for it so I didn't have to go out with my hair looking like crap. If you're used to dying your hair from a box, then the instructions are extremely easy to follow. It's pretty much the exact same process.I was expecting the product to be stinking. I was expecting the product to attack my chest. I'm an asthmatic smoker and my asthma has been playing up along with my hayfever. The product did smell. But it wasn't stinking. Ammonia based hair dye smells worse. So this stuff was bearable. It also didn't really affect my breathing.I wrapped my head in clingfilm then puta towel on top for good measure and I left the product in for approximately 45mins then began the rinse process. No colour came away during the rinse and I wasn't sure if this was normal or not (I can now only assume it is) and I panicked a little. It wasn't until applying the buffer that my hair felt dry and almost brittle. So after I had rinsed that off, I took the advice of many on here, and applied a little conditioner. Then completed the next rinse process. I didn't put on any conditioner after this step as I bought a conditioning hair mask just for this which has left my hair silky soft (not quite as soft as it usually is after a shower) and smelling strongly of bananas.I knew from other comments that the red wouldn't completely lift and I was likely to be left with a gingery-blonde colour. It's gone more of an ash blonde which I can definitely live with for a few weeks to give my hair a rest before I dye it again. I plan on going back to my natural colour. Or as close as I can get.Im 37 with salt and pepper hair. My hair type is a mixed bag I'm afraid, it's thick, thin and fine as well as curly and frizzy. Genuinely got a full hybrid of both my parents hair. It can vary between dry and greasy. I can sometimes leave it several days before it needs to be washed. Or I sometimes have to wash it daily. Using hair products, blow dryers or straitners doesn't have an affect on how my hair wants to be that day.Overall this product worked incredibly well, lifting all the red tone from my hair. It didn't smell as bad as I expected and it didn't attack my already weak lungs. I would recommend conditioning at least once in between rinses and putting on a conditioning hair mask. 10/10 from me

Great product
Hair stylist ruined my lovely blonde hair by putting a really dark shadow root on, which I didn’t want or ask for. I’ve done two rounds of the colour remover and it’s lifted the horrible dark colour out. My hair does have a slight brassy colour to it but nothing a toner won’t fix. I’m so pleased I’m back to my blonde as I hated the shadow root. Agree with other reviews that this stuff stinks and my hair did feel really dry, but I used a hair mask which fixed the dryness. Great product and I would definitely use again.

Lifesaver...er, hairsaver!
I recently tried JoBaz Hair Colour Remover to fix a total hair colour mishap, and I’m honestly impressed! My hair was a nice beige blonde (bleached and toned) when I decided to use a new toner to freshen it up. Big mistake - that toner turned my hair an ashy black. I was freaking out, thinking I’d have to live with it or bleach it all over again.Enter JoBaz! I followed the instructions, and wow, it worked like magic! It removed every trace of that awful black colour and brought my hair back to the bleached blonde base. No weird leftover tint and no damage! To top it off, I used a purple shampoo afterwards to tone it, and it brought my hair back to almost the beige-blonde shade I loved before the whole black fiasco. I’m so relieved!Just a couple of things to note, I used JoBaz within 24 hours of my disaster, so I can't comment on build-up removals. Secondly, it does smell of rotten eggs, like most colour removals, so be prepared to use shampoo it a couple of times AFTER to get the smell out of your hair. I must stress to do this after you have followed the instructions of rinsing it all out with the buffer. It can be a rather long process, especially if you have a lot of hair like I do, but worth it.If you’ve had a dye or toner gone wrong, this stuff is a lifesaver. Totally recommend!

Worth the money
Great product. I'd use again and I've recommended to a friend already. I've posted pictures of the before, during, after when wet and then dry. I had years of dye and the latest colour was dark brown. I'm a natural medium brown. It went a bit ginger near the roots which I'll fix but the rest of it is close to my natural colour. I used two boxes for the long hair and let it sit in the cling film for an hour and 10 mins or so. I used one full buffer bottle for the first application and then the second bottle for the last rinse. The smell is potent but is tolerable. It's the buffer that makes the hair very dry. I washed it at each stage for around 10 mins. After washing it I let it sit in a leave in conditioner. Hair isn't dry now but there is a tinge of the hair remover left, another good wash will sort that I'd say. The smell was like rotten eggs when using it like a lot of the other reviews say but the smell that is left in my hair now is no where close. I checked out a few other colour removers and this one had the best reviews by far.

Amazing - took out years of permanent dye!
This stuff is amazing, it's been 6 years of various red dyes including pillar box red and then for the last 6 months dark purple but this stripped all that permanent dye out and back to my natural strawberry blonde in just one use!I did use it at the maximum timings (60mins or remover weapped in clinfilm, rinse for 10min, buffer 1min, rinse 5min, buffer, rinse) so took about an hour and a half from start to finish.Others commented on the smell but I didn't find it that bad, slight fishy smell but not over powering. No obvious damage to my hair and no trace of dye!

Happy with colour removal
I had previous black hair, red hair with bleacb highlights. And used many boxes of red hair dye so wasn't sure how this would turn out. It removed lots of previous colours so I am happy. It does smell strongly of eggs. But washes out okay. Hair is a lot drier afterwards but I expected that. Hopefully using the right conditioning products will help.

Not worth the time.
This really didn’t work at all. On the plus side it didn’t damage my hair.
