The best IP camera I've had.
I have had this camera for just a few days . So far, I have found it very impressive indeed. The quality of the image at full resolution is very clear with good colour rendition. Also, it must be said that the response from Phylink support by email is outstanding, with quick and detailed replies to any queries I had initially about setting up the camera.I have been offered no inducement/discount to write this review and I bought it with my own hard earned cash. You are welcome to look back over my past reviews to see that I don't give everything five stars, but this camera-as far as I know now- certainly deserves them. It works very well in conjunction with Dropbox, to which you can save still and video alerts when the camera alarm is triggered. I found it very easy to set up with Dropbox, but I have set up several IP cameras in the past, and you really do need to sit down with the full instruction booklet , available online, to find out how to set the camera up. There are some quite complicated settings and some care and time is needed to get the best out of it, or to set it up to do what you want it to do. I did have trouble getting the email alarm/motion detection alerts to work. Eventually I worked it out with some help from Phylink support. I can easily access the live feed of the camera both locally and over the internet. If you buy it, I advise buying a micro sd card for it, unless you have a good spare one knocking around. The camera comes with a well printed quick set up booklet, which is ,refreshingly, written in clear standard English; unlike some other instructions I have seen, it is easily understandable-and even printed on good quality glossy paper. The camera works faultlessly over wifi and if you prefer, with an ethernet cable. I doesn't have POE.Once you have got the camera set up as you like, you have the ability to store a file of the camera's settings, keep it on your pc or online, and then if you mess up the settings by playing around too much , you can easily upload the setting file you created and quickly and easily restore your saved settings. It has the option for you to specify separate sensitivity zones for motion detection, although having tried this with the camera pointing at a static indoor "scene" I didn't find it necessary to use more than one zone. However, if you were to point the camera outside, it would be useful to avoid the motion detection being triggered by, say , a section of tree branches moving in the wind. Some people sometimes complain that video recorded by this type of IP camera looks blurred when movement is recorded. Some blur is inevitable because of the way cameras work. A camera placed indoors with a fairly low level of ambient light means that a slower shutter speed is used. There is no easy way around this, unless you pay a lot of money for a camera with a very high rated ISO sensor - and even then you can't avoid all blur. Perhaps one day an IP camera with an inbuilt flash will be available. My conclusion: this is a great camera for the money , but you really do need to spend some time reading the full instructtion manual. My only caveat is that I've only had the camera for a few days and I can't say what the long term reliability will be.I'll update this review in a year or two.Update March 2018 : the camera is still working perfectly.

Excellent IP wireless camera
An excellent wireless security camera, with very good features and accompanying apps. This is the 1080p indoor version - offers fair value for money for 1080p resolution. As to whether you really require 1080p is up to you - with hindsight, I don't think it offers much of an advantage over the significantly cheaper 720p version.Key features for me are:- Easy to set up - connect via ethernet initially (cable supplied), app finds the camera, configure the wifi settings either via the app or on the settings page by pointing your favourite web browser to the IP address identified in the app. That's it - up and running!- Motion detection: Highly configurable with multiple detection zones; individual zone sensitivity settings- Night vision: IR LEDs, IR Cut filter, individually configurable.- Wide angle lens.- Record to SD: Supports high capacity micro-SD cards (not supplied)- Record to cloud: Supports the excellent Cammy service - essentially sends snapshots via FTP to your Cammy account - free cloud storage, 30 day buffer.- iOS and Android apps - Connect to live stream, access recorded events on SD card. Also support push notifications.Any Amazon customer familiar with the Ucam247 IP cameras will see that this is a familiar looking product. It is the same hardware, same software (only with different branding). Good to have more than one UK reseller for this excellent hardware as hopefully it will drive competition and lower prices.

Not bad product but poor correspondence
I had a few issues with this camera and emailed Phylink as per their email address provided on the back of the instruction manual but on several occasions, their firewall or something, has bounced back my emails. I tried using other email addresses from my side but again, after an initial few email exchanges, my other email addresses gradually got blocked and emails bounced back from Phylink. Therefore communication has stopped because I can’t correspond with them! Ludicrous situation - and I have had to resort to writing this review in the hope they see this and correct their email/blocking/firewall issues.

otherwise once setup it is quite a good camera with a good video picture for a security ...
If you have no technical knowledge, then the settings for this camera might be a bit of a challenge, if you contact there technical support they just send you a copy from the manual to try to overcome any problem you have, which can be a bit of no use especially if you have already read the manual in the first place, otherwise once setup it is quite a good camera with a good video picture for a security camera, night shots are about the same quality as any other security camera I have had.

Great camera
I like this camera. Its not huge and obtrusive like many 1080P cameras are. It works well with my Synology Surveillance software. If I have one minus against it and that is the bracket. Its a bit inflexible as to mounting the camera. Fine it its going on a flat surface as it looks in the image. Or probably fine hanging from the ceiling as long as you can get to the back of it to adjust the locking screw. Not good at all if like me you want toput it on a wall. No screw holes. No way to get to adjust it once you have decided how to fix it ( I used automotive double sided tape. But once its stuck you cant really move the angle. The locking nut is either on or off. So setting it to be movable is not an option. An improvement in bracket design would be a big plus
