Great fleece jacket. Very warm worn just over a tshirt. Keeps the wind out well on a cold day but for harsh conditions you'd probably want an outer shell jacket over the top.Fit is good, neat and comfortable. I am usually an XL so ordered XL in this. It was ok fit but a little too baggy and also long in the torso. I'm 6'2", well built, 15st. It was fine, was going to keep it but ordered a size L to try and its much better for me. Less long in the torso but arms good length, less baggy in the stomach and chest but still room for a light sweatshirt underneath if needed (unlikely as its so warm). The Large size just looks a neater fit if thats what you want but XL was fine for me but looser, so sizing according to how you want it to look I suppose. Large fits me best in this one. I got the blue/green size L and keeping it. Happy with the fleece and just ordered another size L in grey.

It's breathable and fairly wind resistant, but not absolutely wind proof like one with a bonded membrane, but softer to wear accordingly. For the (sale) price it's okay in the garden, but it didn't perform any draught exclusion miracles atop of a Scottish hill top earlier today - with a stout breeze off the north sea. Stupid gaping thumb holes don't help and too far up the arm for thumbs. Velcro at the wrists would.....it's a decent bargain mid layer. I should have calibrated my expectations according to the price....and I remain on the hunt for something better, but will use this for now.

Ok, so the picture looks quite good - they also say the XL and XXL run large, which my XXL-"fatbloke" one definitely does, but oddly more around the shoulders than anywhere else.The fleece material is really not the thickest and is quite light and "flappy"; for how it was described and from the picture, I really anticipated something a *little* heavier. The seams and zip ends are roughly finished and there are a lot of loose thread ends along the seams, so Quality Control is still an issue (hello China, I'm talking to you). Also, there's only one slightly misplaced Velcro patch on the upper right arm on nothing anywhere else - absolutely not as described.I've had some pretty good products from Chinese manufacturers, but they tend to be ones from companies with a longer view and a desire to keep their customers (VGO gloves, made by Laborsing in Beihai, well made, good quality and customer support, good product range and solid product partners with names you'd recognise). I've also had some complete rubbish and while this certainly isn't, it's also not up there with the likes of VGO/Laborsing and others by any means.Maybe I just got the Friday afternoon jacket, plus I've also yet to use it for outdoor work (which is why I wanted a "windbreaker" type fleece with useful pockets), so it may astonish me and actually be warm, comfy to work in and useful. But. It may not and I will update this review with facts and not maybes.Oh, and one last thing, Tacvasen - your tacvasen.clothing-men.org website (is this yours?) has some serious security problems with mismatched certificates. If you want to be taken seriously and build a good and loyal customer base, up your game...3 stars because I've yet to fully make use of it and also see how it passes the wash test.
