Kauplus 9-Way Slide Hammer Puller Set Automotive Slide Hammer Puller Set

I've never used a slide hammer before. The Kauplus 9-way got the job done several times. I needed it to extract a bearing, rear drums, and an ABS magnetic sensor. This thing makes it easy. I thought the price was higher than most but I was pleased with its versatility. It also feels like a quality tool.

Why would there be a stretch rating on a steel tool? Anyway, this is a great tool for the money for the DIY'er at home. I don't believe this tool would hold up to daily abuse like a Snap-on, but it's great to have around if you're a person that does all your own automotive needs.

I haven't used this tool yet, but it has a lot of options for pulling bearings, hubs, or pulley wheels. The rod looks very sturdy and able to provide the leverage needed to get stubborn bearings off. The threads are very fine, so I feel I will be able to really work the tool without ruining the threads.

The raised claw foot was very tight to use on my Aveo four lug hub. The lug nuts were so tight to the claw foot that I couldn't secure it down on the hub surface itself. I damaged two lug nuts while taking off the hub but I figured that would happen with the slide hammer floating. Overall, good weight and it did what I intended for it to do.

Sturdy well built. God value for the money.. All the attachments you will need with a slide hammer. Would highly recommend..

This is an awesome slide hammer puller set! I am really impressed with the whole purchase, great quality, really nice heavy duty case, all around high quality!

Decent set for the money. Problem was the three prong attachment for the pullers was not threaded so can not attach to slide hammer. The threads on hammer rod are weak. After first use the threads are messed up and now I either have to purchase a new rod or a large enough rethreader.

Heavy duty and complete for most jobs where a slide hammer is required ( or desirable!)
