ThermosafePolar Pack FPP64 Foam Brick Refrigerant Gel Pack, 0°C Temperature, 10.5" L x 6.5" W x 1.75" H (Case of 10)

I've been looking around for a cool pack that is convenient to use, truly delivers reasonable /excellent cooling performance, does not have any annoying side affects like gel packs, something high tec but doesn't' cost a small fortune. I finally found a winner.This is an interesting cold pak. I was looking for something better than typical all gel paks,...gel bags that completely deform when warm, sometimes get a slimy coating on the bag, freeze in odd shapes /hard to repack unless carefully squeezed flat, & gel is heavy. These high tec foam /gel bricks have non of those problems & are hassle free! Plus eco-friendly.Styrafoam helps them keep each pack a nice rectangular shape for easy packing... even when melted. Easy to refreeze even when partially melted in that handy rectangular shape. Nice. They are lighter than all gel. Haven't noticed any skum on the outside of the bricks yet. Their right size /shape delivers effective chilling for a long time. I usually put one brick on the bottom or side as my main cooling. With ten bricks I can right size my cooling needs to the size of my cooler,...or use in combination with smaller cool packs of your choice.I tried a competitors 30$ high tech gel single pack of gel wrapped in thick aluminum foil. It required a special high performance freezer at super low temperatures to freeze the special gel. That was a pain & not everybody has those types of freezers. So for about 4$ more I get not just one, but 10 cooling bricks what freeze just fine in regular freezers! Plus having a case of ten I gave a few away to friends to use.I returned the expensive, high maintenance single 30$ gel pack for my case of 10 ThermoSafe Polar packs. An extra bonus is these Bricks can be reused though the pak says designed for one use. Plus they're non-toxic & eco friendly too. Will update if negatives pop up.The only negative was getting them thru the shipping process undamaged. I'm sure Amazon will get that worked out soon.BOTT LINE: This is a great value & reliable product. 10 large foam /gel reUsable bricks that are equal or better than regular or HI-tec gel bags.They retain their shape,... easier packing & space management,...Easier to re-freeze than gel. All-around better performance & fewer issues than gel bags.EASILY EARNS ***** FIVE ***** STARS!

I was really looking for something about half this size and didn't need so many of them. I gave family members about half of them. They are OUTSTANDING for keeping things cold for long periods of time.

Huge, heavy and not remotely eco-friendly. The manufacturer actually claims to be & says you can empty the contents into your trash(!) and recycle the plastic wrapper because it’s #4 recyclable. Collection points for these types of plastics are few and far between and what they can do with this type of waste is not much. Most grocery stores have stopped collecting plastic bags or just throw them out; there is too much plastic waste and almost zero use for it. So basically: heavy & no conscionable way to dispose of it once in your possession.

Used them in our coolers on the boat.At first we were pretty happy with them.After refreezing a few times they began to leak a brown substance into our coolers.Became a real pain to clean out after each trip.Tossed them last weekend.

Use them at work, keep cold for hours.

These work very well. I line the bottom of my cooler with them and I'm good for days. I don't have to mess with the cooler filling up with water from melting ice. I had a couple of these that a friend gave me almost 2 years ago. They were forgotten in a cooler with some food and had to be thrown out, and this is why I bought more of them. They say that they are intended for one use only but I use them over and over. In my yeti cooler they are good for several days.

These are a wonderful replacement for ice - so much better. No melting water and soggy items, keep the ice chest colder much longer, and they are reusable. They do wear out about a few uses but still worth the investment

I work as an Infusion Nurse In California. Every time I receive medications to infuse, they always come with this Polar Pack; instead of throwing them out, I took them home. LOVE THEM! If UHC uses them to keep one-hundred thousand dollars of medications cool...I’m sold!
