Oh my. These are seriously defective. The "musty-smell" is active mildew. Apparently the manufacturer stored them wet, and in a warm place.It went berserk. It's in the lining. You can run your fingers across the lining, and then rub your fingers together and feel the powdery mildew. It stinks to high heavens. PLUS, those spores are still alive. The mildew will transfer to everything in your purse. What a mess.The seller should nor order anymore of these, and try to get a refund on the one's in stock. I put mine in a zip-lock bag before I put it in the garbage to keep it from spreading.(To amuse myself I tried to get rid of the smell. Wiped it out with soda, vinegar, and peroxide, and put it in the sun for two days. Then I sprayed it down with Mean Green mildew killer. It still had to be thrown out. It's a shame too, it really attractive, and a good size.These are defective for these reasons, and I certainly recommend discontinuing this item.

I previously ordered this in red. I love it! Recently I ordered it again in Black. The quality of this one is not as good as the previous one. The shap closure at the top requires brute strength to open and the side zipper is difficult to open and close. Be aware it takes approximately 3 weeks after ordering to arrive.

I like the coin purse a lot, it is bigger then most and with two compartments it holds a lot of cards. The only negative I have, is when it arrived, it had a musty odor to it. It did not have any inserts in it to mask the odor, and maybe they should insert them for future reference.

This wallet has a horrible odor that makes me sick to my stomach. The odor doesn't go away even after airing it out for a month. Someone authorized using a bad batch of leather in making the wallets. Also, the leather is thin, so I don't know how well the product will wear. It's too bad, because it's exactly what I was looking for with respect to style.

I love the extra zipper on the bottom, has plenty of room. Recommend highly!
