Easy to use and get started with
Made my first batch of candles with this kit and am pleased with the results. It includes plenty of soy wax pellets to get you started with, a variety of scents and dyes to use withe the wax, wicks, and plenty of wick holders. The hot plate melts the wax efficiently and gets hot enough to brew a pot of tea between pours. And the included candle jars are cute (though I'd prefer if they didn't have messages printed on them). Great kit for getting started with candle making.

Purchased for grandaughter
We bought this for our 10 year old granddaughter for Chistmas. She loved it. Her mom said it was really nice. It was easy to make and the candles are really nice.

The wax is the only downside.
This kit was amazing!! Now I don’t have to use my stove to make my candles.. The jars are fine as well but my only complaint would be the wax. The way it burns once you’ve made the candle is almost like using crayon wax. It doesn’t melt around the sides and you get one small circle that burns straight down and the rest of the candle was wasted. I even tried to use 2 wicks with it and it just had 2 holes instead of one. Otherwise, this kit is wonderful and worth the moeny. Just buy your own wax!

nice pretty complete starter set.
I bought this for my wife and she really likes it, it comes with everything you need to get started making candles.the hot plate warms up fast and maintains heat well. side note to touch test for heat lol it get HOT fast... dont ask how I know recommended to get started with candle making

Instructions are bad
I wanted to love this "starter" kit, but the instructions are terrible. It doesn't say how many ounces of pellets to use to make each candle, or what temperature on the hot plate is best to melt the wax. It also is lacking on how best to clean the little pot, spoon, and thermometer. I made 2 candles, so will see when they harden how good they are.

Super simple
I love the simplicity of this product. I’ve never made candles before and this is the easiest thing I have ever tried. Lots of colors and smells and it came with everything you need to make candles. I’ve already made a handful as gifts and they are well enjoyed.
