The media could not be loaded.  I love tiny cameras and small tech. This was exciting to get and check out. First thing I notice is the build quality. It is built very solid and feels premium. It is a little on the big side and looks a little out of place as a pen as most pens are a bit smaller, but I understand why it is bigger. This unit comes with a USB charging cable, 2 ink refills, and a mini reset tool. It writes smooth and well enough to pass off for a normal pen to the untrained eye. Below I will outline a few categories of the pen.Operation: Using pen is a bit challenging at first. The instructions do a good job of telling you how to operate it with the top button, however. You need to definitely familiarize yourself with it before you get into any type of covert operation with it. There is no indication of it's operation other than a light indicating what it's doing. A tiny bit of tactile feedback (A small vibration) would make all the difference in the world with a device like this. If you're needing to turn it on in a hurry without someone possibly knowing, you don't want to be holding this in front of your face first looking for a tiny light.Picture/Video Quality: Video quality is excellent 8/10. It records in 2k which is amazing for such a small camera sensor. It does not do well with a lot of motion as this unit does not have image stabilization, so small movements when you're capturing video would be best. Pictures are decent enough, the images to appear to be a bit stretched out. I've included some video and picture samples.Audio: The audio quality is okay 5/10. It's not the greatest but, if you need to pick up an important conversation be sure to have it somewhere that isn't in a pocket or covered too much. It'll do well enough to pick the audio up.In summation, this is a well built tiny piece of tech to pick up video, audio and write if need be, read the instructions and familiarize yourself with operation. A tiny bit of tactile feedback might be nice instead of looking at the lights for status. Be sure to check local laws before you embark on your spy mission however, because recording someone without their permission may be illegal in your area.

If you didn't know this wasn't just a pen, you likely wouldn't be able to figure it out just by looking at it. Its extremely discreet, and its actually a really nice pen as well. So much so I use it as my desktop pen because I like it so much. But that's not why you're here...I used this pen to discreetly record a certain space, sort of like a nanny cam situation. It works really well for this purpose because its tiny, discreet, and has a pretty good field of view with good resolution and overall image quality.The device is also really easy to use - after studying the instructions for just a few minutes I was up and running with the pen, and ready to put into action.The camera is located on the shirt clip, and its turned on and operated via the push button at the top of the pen. Long press to start video recording, with short presses along the way to take photos. There's an LED indicator that briefly flashes either blue or red to let you know its on and working. Once its rolling there's no LED or anything to let you know its working though, so it just looks like an ordinary pen.As a pen, its great. It feels great in hand, with a nice weight to it. Twist the bottom to lower the ballpoint. Pen comes with a few extra ink refills as well.Also included are a 32gb memory card, and a microUSB cable to connect it to your computer. Or you can just take the memory card out and plug that into your computer as well.Simple, discreet, effective. It checks all the boxes.

The media could not be loaded.  First off. It charges fast, and is fairly easy to learn how to use. It looks fairly hidden as well. The lights could have been better setup to verify record/mode but still not hard to use.For motion recording it is just ok. I wouldn't bother.For still photos. It is very aberrated and blurry.For video it is ok in well lit areas. In darkness it works overtime and lowers the fps to compensate. The audio is very splosive heavy and muffled, but usable.The videos are in a basic HEVC 265 format that any player can handle these days. VLC is a good option. The settings inside the camera should be set to max resolution, 60hz, motion recording off. For best outcomes. Any changes are not even worth mentioning.It does what it says and could be great for what you might be thinking of using it for. Just be sure to get used to how it functions first.

Super cool, haven't hooked it up and tried it, but its looks nice, comes with all the cords and stuff. I will update on how well it works, but off of look 5 stars

This is way expensive compared to others. A lot of these Chinese brands claim 4K or even 1080 is usually overly exaggerated and misleading; I'm not expecting RED camera film quality, but at least be comparable to a GoPro or a decent modern dash cam.At this price range being over $100, I expect the video quality to be decent - it's not. The colors are terrible and for something like this, it should have a wider angle; I hate narrow view of 65°.The pen isn't even discreet and it's too bulky.

IF you want to check out what happens in your office while you're away (or your home, for that matter), this pen is a great option. The camera is really not noticeable (though it is quite a thick pen, which might have folks doing a bit of a double take if they see it next to normal sized pens. The USB port makes both charging and getting the video off super easy and the video is clear (audio is less clear, it's understandable but not crystal clear like the video - also, you should look up laws about audio recording in your state before using this - often, audio recording is protected by law). The pen does get warm when in a more continuous recording mode, but not worryingly so. And the controls/directions are easy to use. I do wish there was a way to expand the memory, but what you get is sufficient for most purposes.The price is a bit steep, but you're getting a quality piece of electronics here so I can understand it. Sometimes you get what you pay for and this is one of those times! Oh - and to one of the other reviewers that gave it a low review because of the video wouldn't play in Windows 10, that's because Windows 10 doesn't natively support the video format, requesting a "codec" or basically a key to play the video. VLC is a nice, free player that can play most types of video and should work here just fine - it did for me.

Does not work with Windows 10. You have to purchase a codex, whatever that means. Audio is garbled and almost non-understandable.
