A MUST HAVE in a studio or by drummers
I think everyone with recording studio knows it's nice to have sandbags handy. They can stabilize stands, especially ones that have booms very far extended. But forget that for a moment. Although that's reason enough to have these. These are your secret weapon to bass drum sound! I couldn't believe the difference. More thump. More attack. No need for pillows or blankets. Put one or two of these babies in there. You just won't believe the difference they make. I rest my Shure Beta 91a microphone on one as well. But wait, there's more! 🤣Floor toms! Yeah. Rest one or two on floor tom legs that you want a little reduced sustain on without changing attack. I couldn't believe they worked for this. May not work on all style legs (like vintage straight legs).

Solid for studio usage, not for field.
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Good price, good value. They hold up well in studio settings. I wouldn't recommend for outdoor usage or heavy set to set movement, but they're perfect for in studio strobes or other lightweight equipment. Zippers are not the best but are easily reset. I use hermit crab sand for filler and it's been great. Highly recommend.

They've lasted over a year so far
I may be really late to writing a review. But I am an outdoor vendor doing at least five events a month and have been doing so for over a year and I'm still using the same bags with no issues. Really is a great product. And the fact that it has carrying handles are also one of my favorite parts.

Well worth the price.
Decent bags at this low price point. Sturdier than I expected. The included plastic bags (8) that fit inside the main cloth bags’ pockets (2 ea. x 4) are of minimal quality, my opinion, and I put each of them, after filling with sand, inside a separate Ziplock 1 gal. Freezer Bag for a thicker, more durable filler media container, then put these into the cloth bags pockets. For info, when filled with Quikrete Play Sand to the point that the supplied plastic bags will just barely close each of those supplied plastic bags weighed 9.2 to 9.4# on my digital scale, which made for a total weight of each sand bag complete assembly of about 19# or a few ounces more. No doubt rocks would increase the weight but dropping a bag of rocks on one’s bare foot accidentally or stabbing a toe is less desirable than sand…I will also be spraying the cloth bags with Kiwi Camp Dry to give them longer life here on the Texas coast of the Gulf of America…The 4 aluminum carabiners are at best key ring quality, my opinion, but would, I suppose, also suffice for holding the bag’s double handle wrapped around an umbrella pole above a weighted stand for extra weight, or clipped to a rope on a canopy leg, or similar. I just sit my bags on top of my pool umbrella stand(s) when the wind is higher than usual and they stay put just fine.

Nice quality compared to some others I've used
I've ordered some of these in the past but this last batch felt like a big improvement over the older ones. These feel really nice and the material is thicker so they should hold up great over time. They include the inner bags and even some clips if you need them so it's a great value. Obviously you have to fill with your own sand but now that they're all filled up, they're gonna be great!

They were great
On my deck I have rocking chairs And when it rains and storms they move. One fell off my deck and I did tie them with bungee cords around the railing. So I bought these sandbags and they work excellent.

Ya get what ya pay for
They’re cheap, so ya get what ya pay for. I ordered a set of the green which were fine, replaced the plastic bags that came with them and bought some heavier duty carabiners. Ordered a second set that had multiple broken zippers lol, was easier to fix them myself than return. I wouldn’t trust these for outdoor use in wet environments.
