Great book, story and artwork, can’t wait for book 4

I just placed a pre-order for the 3rd book. I bought the first book over a year ago and pre-ordered the second book not long after that. My son was 5 the first time we read them and is now almost 6 1/2 year's old. He cannot read them yet. He doesn't request to read the same book more than once very often, but we have read these several times and every time we get to the end of the 2nd book he cries because the 3rd book isn't out yet. The best part about these books is that I genuinely enjoy reading them over and over with my kid too. We talk about the characters in conversation even speculating about what might happen now that Kest has taken all the lights. The art is fantastic, the characters are great, and the story is great. This series is a true gem in the fantasy-adventure genre of graphic novels.

Beautifully illustrated and the story is so refreshing and unformulaic. My daughter can't wait for the next book to release.
