Why did you pick this product vs others?: I normally don't post reviews, but I had a bone head move using this product yesterday and I wanted share my experience. I am in Koror, Palau on a dive trip and I have been using 3 of these cases for phones/wallets on the dive boat (boat spray, rain, wet conditions) I have been taking pictures while in the case and overall it has been working great. The boat is a little tight for space so I have been hanging my phone in the case on the used air tanks. Yesterday, I made a mistake and hung it on an unused tank. Unbeknownst to me, one of the dive guides setup my BCD and placed it over the top of my phone hanging on the tank. After a 51 minute dive to a max depth of 69 ft and upon surfacing the dive guides noticed my phone in the case wrapped around my tank. When I got out of the water I was expecting the worst and was amazed to find my phone and the case was completely dry! What a great product thst saved my very expensive Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra!Waterproof:Extremely! Durability:Seems well built

I used this Pelican phone pouch on a recent snorkeling trip, and it was awesome. Totally kept my phone dry, even underwater, and I could still use the touchscreen without any issues. The clear window is great for taking photos and videos—got some amazing underwater shots without taking my phone out. It locks up tight and the lanyard made it easy to carry around my neck. Super lightweight but feels secure. Definitely bringing this on every beach trip and cruise from now on. Worth every penny!

I used the Pelican waterproof case to go snorkeling in the ocean and to go kayaking - both in the Florida summer heat. In the water, the waterproof pouch worked perfectly. No water leaked into the case and it floated with the phone inside. As other reviewers noted, underwater the touch screen doesn't work. i just programmed my phone camera to take a picture using the up volume button. That wasn't easy as the side of the case is padded and underwater it's hard to tell exactly where that little button is.I put my phone in the waterproof case while kayaking just in case I dropped it while trying to take pictures. It's hard to see the screen in sunlight to take pictures in the sunlight but I managed. I was also worried about quality of teh pictures through the plastic screen of the case, but that wasn't a problem either (see attached photo, taken with the case on). The problem comes with the summer sun shining on the plastic case. It heated up so much that my phone went into emergency mode b/c it overheated.So, while it's a good quality case and didn't leak underwater, the case can heat up quite a bit in sunlight and the touch screen is difficult (in sunlight) to impossible (in water) to use.

Great product! Still water tight after many uses and no issues after being in the hot sun all day. Still able to take great pics through the case (did have glare when looking directly towards the sun, ie. sunsets), video quality is good through the case as well (audio not so great). I recommend buying the larger size so you don't have to take your phone case off to use it. Ended up purchasing serval more to keep on hand for friends and my boyfriend.

This thing was awesome, and a great product for us on our trip to Hawaii. We were able to take our phones into the lazy river, and in the actual ocean. Hanging from our necks, these were in water and never once did water make it's way into the pack. I was still able to use my phone, and was able to get pictures I never would have been able to take without this. My phone is a Galaxy S22 Ultra, so it's a big phone and it was able to fit snuggly into the pack. However for my phone, I had to remove my case and was unable to use the front racing camera because it was partially covered by the pelican case. No biggie though, because the rear facing cameras were unobstructed and took pictures with ease and the touch screen still works without ever having to remove the phone. My wife has a regular Galaxy S21, and did not need to remove her case. It shows I got the regular sign, but I got the XL 2 pack. Loved these!

We got the regular size last year for our iPhone 15 Pro Maxes. My Otterbox Defender did not fit well, but isn’t really needed while in the water pouch anyway so my smaller daily case fit great. It did cut off the front-facing camera on the 15PM but I didn’t mind too much. We’ve used them at water parks, floating rivers, kayaking…name it! We also wore them whitewater rafting last week and they were perfect.We just upgraded to the 16 Pro Maxes and now it really doesn’t work so we’re ordering the XLs for a river trip this weekend. I was thinking they would be oversized to a silly degree but someone else mentioned fitting their phone and wallet/card case inside and I think that will actually be great in the bigger case, especially for cruises and water park days.

These seem excellent. Access to phone is good. Put phone into bag "head first" and you can use camera. I have an iPhone 16 with a minimal silicone case. Phone fits - barely - in the regular case. I'm going to order the XL for backup.NOTE: These JUST arrived, so I have not been on the lake yet. If this 5-start review has not been updated by August, 2025, assume I stand by that 5-star assessment.

Tested it in salt water and it works. The plastic is bendy and squishy in the right way such that you can still interact with side buttons. The clarity to view the screen and take pictures is good. Only complaint is that some phones without a home button may need to enable accesibilty settings in order to close apps and get to home screen. Using Pixel 8 pro and I had this issue happen.
