I used this to crimp ferrules for my home built 3d printer and other devices, and have not had an issue with any ferrules that I installed into my machines since I bought this. I would highly recommend buying this since using ferrules is safer than bare wire strands. It also makes switching out wires feel easier than worrying about wire strands being tucking in. Grip feels great, it feels very durable, and I haven't had a problem with any ferrule sizes not fitting in this, even the smallest ones work well.

Very good product, keeps wires together so that circuit is complete and no wires are loose. Makes the finished product work well and look professional.

I don't know how I've survived this long without ferrules! And these crimpers get the job done! I've used them quite a bit to clean up wiring in my camper and also in some friends campers. So far, so good! They make a good solid connection, and are easy to use.

Worked fine. My only issue is ferrules were a little short for what I needed.

Work perfect up to 16mm good quality

I used the 10 gauge (yellow) ferrules to control the frizzy stranded wires of a 10 gauge SOOW power cord while attaching a twist lock plug. It would have been an impossible job without some kind of ferrule, this kit not only made it possible but easy. The crimper did a perfect job. I've only tried the 10ga ferrules so I can't speak to other reviewers' complaints about the crimper cutting the smaller ferrules. I'm very satisfied.

Definitely not for larger wire. I crimped some 6 awg fine stranded wire and it distorts the crimp. Worked fine 10 awg. I specifically purchased this for the larger wire. My work around was to lightly crimp and use the release and depend on the screw terminal to finish the job. The tension adjustment worked great. With electrical terminations you need to know if it is a round or square terminal. This is more for rounded terminals.
