This is perfect for our needs. My husband is 5'8" and 175# and it fits well in the sleeves and length (is about 4 inches off ground) and there is plenty of room to add a throw pillow for a "belly." The wig fits a bit big. It does not come with the cross, but does come with the rope belt. It is a thinner material so it should work for summer festivals and with layers will work for Halloween.

It is pretty basic but so are monks. Overall good value.

This costume was an awesome find, especially considering the price. The fabric is very sturdy - it feels like a coarse wool. We looked at one at a local Halloween store and the fabric was very thin - and more expensive! It's definitely not made for a large man - I am 5'9" 170 and it would probably be too tight if I was much bigger. The wig is so-so but it's worth the price even if you never wear the wig.

This item was actually too small and I had to return it and get the plus size (I stand 5'7" and weigh 190 lbs. The length was fine, the torso width did not work as I could only only wear the "one size fits all" if I were only in shorts and a tank underneath this costume). Otherwise I was satisfied with the color, the material and overall quality of the costume. Perhaps it is a better fit for a smaller framed individual.

We bought this for my husband for a costume. I will say that it was a little tight fitting at the bottom. Like he couldn’t fully walk his stride. So we cut the seam on either side for the last 8 inches so he could fully walk. It was totally great for a costume event. The wig is absolutely ridiculous and amazing. It was a total hit at the party. For the price point, it’s a great costume. Honestly, that wig is worth it. Because it’s just so ridiculous and amazing.

I act at renaissance festivals as Friar Tuck. The costume fit my 5'11' 200lbs. perfectly . The quality is actually a lot better then expected but the material has a modern look to it. Medieval monks habit's were largely of burlap material. Only the higher ranking Clergy would have worn something as nice as this costume. However, I will weather it some and it will work out fine. I added it to my collection and would likely buy another.

I am 5'10" and 180 lbs. It fit perfectly. Was worn to a Renaissance themed wedding and was a total hit. I Purchased a gold cross to go with and had a complete costume. Rubie's Costume Co Plastic Monk Cross Costume The bald wig totally makes this work, cheesy as it looks in the pictures. The cloth is somewhat rough - not like burlap, but it makes the robe more legit.

Costume is just as described. No surprises. The fabric is great and gives an old feel. Just perfect. I highly recommend. Price is right too.
