Instructions I could understand would be useful.
This looks as though it will be good though I haven't tried it yet. Unfortunately the instructions are entirely written in Chinese. Sadly my education is lacking - I never learnt to decipher those beautiful symbols. Any chance of some instructions in English.....?The seller was very helpful in sending me very quickly the instructions in English. However, like most instructions, they were not very clear, and I have a feeling at least one screw and nut are missing. If not I can't fathom out how to fix this together. So I'm off to a hardware shop to find the appropriate part. I still think this will work, once it's put together properly. Watch this space!Well, after putting it off a few times, I have finally got round to trying to put this together. Unfortunately, the instructions (originally in Chinese, then sent to me downloaded in English,) are extremely difficult to understand. Perhaps the downloaded pictures are not as clear as they should be, but I can't work them out at all. I still think there may be some part(s) missing, though I can't be sure. I will put it together in some way to make it useable, even if only tied together with string or sticky tape. I do think the idea is very good, and just what I need to reach awkward windows. It's just a pity that the instructions are so poor. Either that, or I'm completely dim!

Works Wonders on Mold, Dirt, Spiders & Small Window Panes
I bought this product because I live in a two-story house with casement windows and very uneven ground around the house, making it difficult to use a ladder to clean the windows from the outside. I also live in a moist, forest environment, so mold, dust and spiders frequently love to stick to the outside of my windows. My windows all have smaller panes in them, so they are a challenge to clean because they take small, consistent movements rather than large swipes. I was curious to see how this product would perform and was hesitant to spend the money because some reviewers have had problems and said the product was not well built.I received a very nicely packaged unit. Like other reviewers, I found the directions fairly minimal but the photos help a great deal. I like all the options: you can use the squeegee, sponge, rag, or newspaper, and the head swivels and locks at different angles. I found the unit to be lightweight metal and plastic and nicely constructed, although I would try not to drop it on concrete from a two-story window.I used the supplied silver protective cloth to cover the sponge and then used an old facecloth as my cleaning rag. It tucked in nicely into the plastic spaces surrounding the sponge, holding on without a string or rubber band, although you could do this, if you wanted to. I used dish soap and water to scrub and get all the big debris off and then put vinegar and water on the rag as a second sweep. I got beautiful results! The squeegee can work well, too, either with the supplied rag for cleaning or by itself, for finishing. The squeegee fits all of my window panes. The window cleaner does take some maneuvering and practice to use, as with any new tool. Like other reviewers, I found that using two hands, whenever possible, will help you from getting tired too fast. Remember that you can also disassemble the "u" portion of the tool and just use the sponge and extendable pole, if it is helpful, or just the edges of the sponge area instead of the face. By maneuvering around in various ways like this, I was able to get into the corners of all my frames and make my windows look great.I still think the price is high and would have preferred to see something around $20-25. At this point, though, I believe this Zuwit "U" shaped product is the only window cleaner on the market designed like this. I'm still glad I purchased it and look forward to using it again in the future and I definitely love my cleaner, brighter view!

Difficile da usare
Serve forza da Ercole per fare scivolare le spazzole. Evidentemente le calamite sono sovradimensionate per sicurezza. Prodotto non usabile per me

Its not difficult to put the cleaner together - so don't be put off!
This product arrived today and after reading some of the reviews prior to buying I was a bit apprehensive about putting the gadget together. I agree, the instructions are not clear, however it didn't take very long to put the parts together...just a bit of logical thinking. So please, don't be put off by some of the negative reviews. I tried out the cleaner and it seems to be fine. It is a bit tricky in some tighter areas, but I'm sure with a bit of thinking and re-positioning of the cleaner these can be overcome. Not sure if it value for money because all you are paying for is the gadget itself. I doubt the sponge will last very long, so best to follow the instructions and use newspaper or plastic to cover the sponge.

Nice concept - poor construction
Although the concept for the Zuwit Telescopic Window Cleaner product is interesting, the materials used in the creation of the product did not live up to the expected use for cleaning windows.During the first and only usage of this product the product broke in 2 locations.Location 1 - The green plastic hinge or movable joint that connects to the telescoping rod and holds the sponge and squeegee attachments cracked. See picture attachmentLocation 2 - On the loop or semi-u-shaped handle attachment, 1 of the 2 screws that held the green plastic connector in place and connected to the telescoping rod, was stripped and feel into the hollow rod, causing the handle to rotate in place each time we tried to scrub and squeegee our windows. We had to insert new new screw to continue to use the attachment. See picture attachmentScenarioWe live on the 8th floor of a semi-high rise building with security windows that are designed to not open wide enough to allow a child or small adult to climb out or fall out though. We have 3 rooms, each containing a wide picture window with either 1 or 2 windows on either side of the picture window that open to allow for air circulation. The Zuwit window cleaner fit our specific need as we couldn't clean our windows from outside the building, only from within our apartment. Now although the product - before the materials broke - did perform a good job of soaping, scrubbing and cleaning our windows - both the outside and inside; the materials used in the construction of the product failed during the first use. If the construction were better, we don't think that the product would have failed and we would have had the ability to use the product multiple times in the future.Pros- Useful product to clean the outside of windows from within a home or apartment- Product did perform well, before the product broke due to either poor manufacturing/construction or materials- Telescoping rod feature allows for extension of rod to clean range of window sizesCons- Poor construction and/or materials used in construction- Telescoping rode length was about 18 inches short for one of our picture windows.- Key joint where loop handle connected to telescopic rod failed under stress of swiping back and forth or in waving motion (like window-wipers on a car windshield). We had to insert our own screw to continue to use the product. See picture attachment- The green plastic hinge or movable joint that connects to the telescoping rod and holds the sponge and squeegee attachments cracked. See picture attachmentRecommendationIf you're in need of a product to do light cleaning on the outside of your window from within your home, this product may suffice, but use with caution. After a single use of moderate cleaning, the product failed for us.
