Q: This is for my skinny husband (140#) and for golf; what size would I get? I need comparable sizing with men's shorts

I ordered these shorts for my 16yr. old grandson(125#). He has a 28" waist so I ordered large, thinking they would be comparable to men's small. But they were way too big so returned them. Wish they had waist sizes listed as just sizes 10, 12, 14-16, etc. does not help.

Q: Do these shorts have an adjustable waistband?
