Children of the Day: 1 & 2 Thessalonians- Leader Book

I did this study as part of Beth's summer siesta study. So solo and without the hour long videos each week. Beth did a short intro video every other week on her blog. I LOVED IT! And have bought the workbook for 2 of my friends. Can I be honest?... I had gotten a little burned out on Beth's studies. I'm not a good in-depth studier, and I had trouble staying focused for an hour video. THIS WAS AWESOME. She had me digging DEEP in the Word, searching for myself, but the daily homework didn't take and hour and I GLEANED SO MUCH FRoM IT! SO MUCH! So even if you're not doing it with a group and with the videos, get it! YOU WILL LEARN SO MUCH AND BE ENCOURAGED!

Disappointing. I’ve done many Beth Moore studies and love them (and would recommend the others!) but this one was different. It was very disjointed, not smooth at all. We kept waiting for the study to line up with the description on the back, to bring us on a journey and help us understand why we are on that journey. Unfortunately, it never got there. After 12 years of leading women’s ministries, and at least 10 Beth Moore studies along the way, I just can’t recommend this one. Head towards her “Believing God” study or Priscilla Shirer’s “Armor if God” study for similar, in-depth studies that really make you want to dive into the Bible and that truly make an impact on your life.

I haven’t finished with this product, but the Bible study I’m a part of is far enough into the study that I feel confident about rating it. It is superb!!Beth Moore is a gifted Bible scholar and writer, and she keeps everything so truthful and positive... even the warnings found in scripture. The love she has for others and for Jesus can be felt in every syllable and sentence.This study, like all her studies, has something for everyone: the searcher, the infant Christian, the mature one, and the one who has loved and walked with Jesus for years.I highly recommend this Bible study. Be sure to get the CD’s or DVD’s that go with the workbook. You don’t need both, but get one or the other to get even more out of the study.

Beth moore is not for the faint of heart. Her books and studies are in depth. And require a commitment from the reader I had many take aways , but I also did the work. Up to you and where you are in your walk

Superb study...as all of Beth's are. I loved the encouraging nature of her lessons and the exciting way she skips all around to hit every little connection in the bible. Made me cry and laugh both as I studied through this with Beth and so many other women.

the part that says leader book should be in capital letter...did not read the hole thing and bought the leader book and not the real book...making me pay for shipping and after paying for shipping all I will be left w is 6 cents...

This is one of Beth's best! but then again I always say that when I start one of her studies. So well written, she can pull out a ton from an ounce of scripture. Love love love!

My mom and I did this bible study together and agreed it was beautiful, encouraging, and just classic Beth! It was perfect for our season of life right now and we grew so much together not only in our faith but in our relationship with one another as well. I wish we had a part two!!!

Beth Moore does it again - You can learn so much about Paul, Silas & Tomothy's letter to the Theesalonians - about the benefits of disagreements, how we can be different but United, how God is the perfect parent for us, why we shouldn't give up on relationships, about sexual ethics,, about quenching the Spirit & despising prophecy, learn about eschatology & the enemy, - phew what a ride !Enjoy this is a nine week a bible study which goes with 9 video sessions (downloadable online approx.5USD each) - do this on your own or do this in a group (DVD available separately) go deeper by completing the 5days of homework in between video sessions. Deeper still? Rewrite the two letters at the back of the book. Wanna go even deeper ? Beth helps you to learn how to recite both books!

Enjoying this much more as I share it with another

A great Bible study guide- it's amazing what Beth extracts from a small Letter. Light and accessible. Yet very meaty in places. Very encouraging - meets each of us where we are at. Thank you.

Fantastic book!

I have done this program with Beth Moore and our ladies in our community in January through March this year. I enjoyed it so much and felt it had a very definite impact for all of us in the day we live in that I bought it for our church.Isabelle Poirier

For anyone who wants an in-depth study of the Bible, in order to understand it more fully, and to be inspired to apply the Bible teachings to daily life, and thus grow in peace and joy, Beth Moore is a great teacher.

Great study of Thessalonians. As always, Beth Moore's straightforward teaching reaches right to the heart of what is needed. I highly recommend this study!

This is a really good bible study, but doesn't quite meet the Daniel and Revelation series that Beth Moore does. The books are very good, though.

The leader guide came scratched up but the rest was in excellent condition and on time....not happy with the guide book...should look new when you get it.

At the moment, our bible study group have only seen the first DVD session...and we are very excited about getting into the study of 1 & 2 Thessalonians.

Beth is just a gifted teacher
