This should be an essential part of anyone's miniature painting kit from day one.
This is far and beyond better than the paper plate I was using to paint with. It's kind of crazy just how long this will keep your paint viable for painting. Just keep the pad wet and it'll go for days. I was lucky to go for a couple minutes without it drying out on my with traditional palettes... and paper plates, of course. If you're considering getting into painting miniatures, spring for this. It might seem a little pricey, but it'll save you money in the paint you don't waste. If I ever get back into painting on canvas I'll probably use it for that as well.

Good value for the money
Simply the best value in wet palette purchases you can make. The right size with quality internal sponge and paper that keeps your paints in workable shape for an extended period of time. The seal provided on the cover is excellent and ensures the paint will remain hydrated when covered, for me overnight has been no problem. If you are looking for a wet palette, this is a good place to start.

Great pallet
Great for people with limited space. Does all that was advertised as doing

Great on the go or for a small workspace
Works just like the bigger one I own only more portable. The seal is not as good but, is sufficient when on the bench and it comes with an elastic strap for the go. It uses precut paper which I prefer to cutting my own. More accurate and great consistency. Would definitely recommend if you paint on the go or your work space is limited

For a first wet pallette, cant go wrong.
It comes with 50 sheets of precut paper, 2 foam pads, as well as the pallette itself. I used it twice now for over an hour each time and the paint mever even began to form a skin. So far cleaning has been as simple as pulling out the old sheet and putting a new one in. Very much worth the price.

It's good. but...
The foam pads could be thicker, and i'd prefer they lose the embroidered logo on the foam pads. It creates an air pocket under the paper that dries it out.BUT BUT!!It's a good wet pallet. I personally used an army painter wet pallet for years. But this one "Feels" less cheap, and is made with sturdier materials and a better build quality.I appreciate the rubber around the rim of the lid, because it holds the moisture in. Where the army painter one didn't have that. Which can be a good and a bad thing. Good if you're not like me and use a regular amount of paint. Bad if you're like me, and you glob more than you need onto the paper, and it ends up sitting there for a few days, I could see that excess paint going bad/moldy and the foam building up mildew if it isn't properly cleaned.

Keep the pad damp, not soaking wet
I've never used a wet palette before, much less any type. I've always put a small amount of paint into a cup or dipped the brush into a bottle when possible. Those palette allows me to add/use/mix colors, brush them on and then cap the palette with the lid. The paint stays wet, although may get a bit watered down. This sure beats wasting pain when I don't need a lot or the entire amount, the mixes stay wet for touch ups and reuse. This item included 2 "wet" pads and 50 paper sheets, I've used the pad for multiple models and the paper is tossed at the end of the project. This is a great investment and really saves the paint.

Excellent at keeping in moisture.
In fact a little too good, as I forgot about it for a week once and opened it up to find a touch of mold. That’s user error on my part. It works well and extends the life of my acrylic paint.
