Fun fun fun!
Bought this for my 3 and 8 year old daughters. So far we have played with the Shapes and Words. Will be trying the Math this week. Both girls have really enjoyed the games so far. The shapes is not challenging to the 8 year old, but since we aren't very far into the apps, im not sure if it will get challenging or not. I will update this after we have had them longer!!

I was so excited to get this for our granddaughter for Christmas. I got it and was working to get it all setup so it was all ready for her after opening her gift. It was impossible to get the Tiggly tools to work with the apps! I uninstalled and reinstall the apps several times, restarted the device, took off the screen protector and nothing worked. So disappointed! And now it's too late to get a replacement!! Your troubleshooting on your webpage says "sorry you received a defective product, contact us for a return" I email you and have yet to hear anything from you. So now I have contacted Amazon and I am doing a complete return :-( Really wanted this to be a great product!

Great quality and good idea... not sure they are learning anything
Lets start with the goods:- The letters and shapes and numbers pieces are all very good quality. The are soft and rubbery with smooth rubber/dot 'feet' that are gentle on the screen.- Screen responds instantly to the the rubber feet, making it a smooth experience.- Despite some reviews, I had no problem claiming the games when using the instructions. All worked fine.- Games are entertaining enough and keep my daughters attention for good stretches of time. Here is where I am not sure whether to give this 4 stars or 3 stars. I opted for 3 based on my observations. Will this help your kid learn anything? I am unsure. I got this for my daughter (5) who hasn't started Kinder yet. She played with it just fine, all the apps. She was barely listening to anything, she would just match colors/shapes and go (when playing letters for example). She never cared for what letter it was, or anything, just quick match it based on color (Screen usually - not always gives enough hints or shows a color pic of the letter they need to use).So I got my 20 month old to play the games for 5+ years to learn the letter. Not surprising (given my observation of my 5 year old) the 20 month old could play all the word games at virtually the same speed as my 5 year old, while also learning nothing in the process. Again, most games is just match/colors shapes. Here is where I think the colors while neat fail miserably as a teaching tool.IF all the letters where the same color, they would at least have to think and match the shape - same with the numbers and shapes items. The difference in color just makes these a color matching game apt for 1 year olds. So, if you were hoping for a game that really helps your child with letters, this is not it. I might experiment by painting all the letters one color so it at least puts enough of a challenge so a 1 year old cannot play as easy as a 5 year old.Your mileage may vary, but I am very doubtful about anything educational coming of this.

Edited, doesn't work.
I originally gave this 5 stars, we've now had the kit for a little over 2 weeks and it's being returned. Several of the manipulatives do not register properly with the apps. For example, on the math apps, you place a #2 marker on it and it records it as a #4. The vowels do the same. The a,e, and o are all too similar to register properly. They frequently get put in incorrectly which is really confusing to my son. We've had the same issue with these on our Ipad and Kindle fire. I even took the screen cover off, cleaned it thoroughly, etc. it doesn't help. The past few days we've ended up playing the apps in finger mode instead of using the manipulatives. I think the idea is fantastic, but the execution just isn't there. This kit has been amazing for my son with special needs. We needed a more hands-on approach to start spelling and reading, this has kept his interest and been such a blessing for our homeschool. Even my older son enjoys many of the apps, specifically the math addition and subtraction. Highly recommend it for anyone who needs to make learning a little more fun.

Pretty cool!
This is a really great little set! It's pretty unassuming. All you get in the boxes are these figures (shapes, letters, numbers lines) that are compatible with games you download for free on your tablet. The games say they are good for children ages 2-5 (shapes), 3-7 (numbers), and 4-8 (letters). My son is two so we've only played with the shapes game so my review will focus mainly that, though I believe it will be applicable to the other games. So for the shapes, there are four figures that come in the set and three tiggly apps you can download (Safari, Draw, and Stamp.) Safari is accessible without the figures, but in order to play Draw or Stamp, you need to unlock the game using your figures. All the games let you either use your finger to choose shapes or draw or whatever. The Safari game is a "identify this shape" game where the shapes end up making different animals. My two year old was surprisingly good at this and was really into it. Draw and Stamp let you make pictures using the shapes and even take pictures of what you did or video them.I do have a couple criticisms of the games. One, some of the shape figures don't seem to register as well. The circle in my experience often doesn't register when I touch the screen with it. The other issue I've noticed is that when my son hits the screen with the shapes it occasionally registers a shape other than the one he is holding (like he's got the square but the game thinks he's using the star.) I don't know if it's the way he's holding the shape or if he use too much force or what. It doesn't do that when I use the game. The last issue is that my son seems to want to chew on the rubber shapes and the saliva seems to mess with the screen recognizing the shapes. All in all, it's pretty cool, though, and I look forward to using more of the apps and games as my son grows.
