Great paint, but colors are unpredictable online.
This chalk paint was great, had good coverage and was easy to spread. I always water my chalk paint down with water so it goes on smooth. My only issue with this company compared to others is that it is so hard to have any idea of what the color will actually be like. Other companies will have photos of the paint on furniture or videos about each color. I wanted to paint my side table a sage color to go with my basement decor and wanted to give folkart a try. I ordered the sage. When it arrived I was surprised at how blue it was in person, almost a duck egg blue. Luckily, the color went nicely with my color scheme upstairs. The table in the photo is done with “sage” and the paper plate in the other photo has shaded sage on the left and sage on the right. My advice is if you want to use folkart paint go to your local hobby lobby and buy it there so you can see the color yourself. If you want to order online I’d recommend going with a different company. Country chic paint is great, has photos and a little video for each color.

Best bang for your buck!
I am using this paint to bring my late grandmothers cherished bedroom set back to life. This chalk paint is an excellent bang for your buck - I thinned put the full jar with 5 tablespoons of water to make it more workable. It came out beautiful! 8oz covered the nightstand with 2 coats and I still have 1/4 of the jar left. My only complaint is that the colors are misleading - I chose the sage color based on another customers review (I wanted a creamy rustic blueish green) but if you are looking for a true sage green color, this is not it. Since the paints are returnable with prime, it’s worth the risk! I plan to use this on my bathroom vanity next!

Love it!
I was hesitant to start my very first chalk pairing project. I've never done any dyi stuff and didn't want to spend an arm and leg on someone I might mess up. Let me tell you this painting was SO easy to use, I wasn't crazy about the color at first but I think it turned out pretty cute!! I love how easy this was and soooo inexpensive!! I used 2 coats and still have the bottle almost full. Definitely buying more to re do more furniture and now buying dark wax to give it that older look. Love love it

Really like chalk paint no sanding and cover in one coat usually.
Crafting, I use it for. Make sure you put the lid right back on or it dries up and it’s to thick.

I got this item to paint onto Mason Jars and then distressed. Covered with the wax product. Placed a artificial sunflower in each for a Birthday Party Table Celebration and a Favor for the Guests. Were liked very much. Will do again.
