This product does not sand at all, polishes at best and even that is a fail. Save your money

These abrasive non woven Scotch balls are not very useful, other than a quick polishing of wood. None of the grits will remove wood (as in sandpaper), but will simply polish. This item I received is even worse because it spins on the shaft the second you put a bit of pressure on it. Not recommended other than very light polishing.

I was excited about this product but somewhat disappointed that the coarser grade sanding ball did not remove as aggressively as I hoped it would. The sanding effect of this 80 grit ball was more like 180 grit than true 80 grit. I hope that Scotch Brite creates a more aggressive ball sander in the future, as I really believe they are on to a good thing!

Not as abrasive as I thought it would be for 80 grit. Did not abrade hard wood very well, but good for polishing.

I ordered the balls of this type but got cylinder type

This one broke after the 3rd use. Save your money
