I like the strength and durability of Sweese. It is a hard type of ceramic that is like porcelain but comes colored. It is medium weight but not heavy like other stoneware that chips easily nor very light like delicate China or glass plates. I didn't know if these would be as strong as their whiteware but seems so. I'm very happy as that is what I wanted and would not hesitate to buy more or recommend to others. 5 stars all the way!

I bought these as a gift to be used with dishes like Fiesta ware. She loved them and matched well.

Got the plates within 12 hours and they are beautiful! The colors are bright and they are heavy and sturdy! I got the multi-colored ones and the grandson is excited for dinner!!!

The colors are absolutely gorgeous and the plates are great quality. A little on the heavier side but that just supports their durability. I like that they have a nice sized lip around the outside edges to keep food from sliding off or anything like that.

My favorite plates!

Spacious to hold a lot of food or different types of dishes. Main course, sides, and desserts could all fit in one plate if you desired. Easy to clean, dry, and store. Microwave safe and sturdy. They have not scratched or stained since they’ve arrived 4 weeks ago or so. Would definitely buy again.

Great coliyr good quality but arrived with 1 ate broken

Used this plate to heat up lasagne (the lasagne was already warm just not warm enough) for 1 minute in the microwave. When I grabbed the plate out of the microwave to head to the table all of a sudden it was in pieces, there was lasagne everywhere and my figure was cut. The hot lasagne stained my hard wood floors due to the tomato sauce and now I’m down a plate from the set. These plates are not safe in the microwave and I no longer feel comfortable using them.

I never heard if Sweese before and now am a life time fan. They give you a warranty and free gift as well.
