SmartGARAGE - Reflective Garage Door Insulation Kit

I live in South Georgia. The install was easy enough, but I had to use duct tape to secure the insulation to the door. The provided tape isn’t particularly useful. It did a great job of keeping my garage warmer in the winter, but during the summer my garage was over 90 degrees! I finally put in a thermometer out of curiosity and saw it hit 97 one afternoon with the door closed for hours. This insulation acts as an oven in the summer. It would be ok for a cold place, but definitely not for a warmer area.

The adhesive tape it comes with is garbage. Annoying to put up, and is incredibly weak. Didn't hold the panels for even a day. It needed so much more to get it to stay on, especially if you ever intend to open the garage door again.The insulation itself, when you do finally figure out how to get it to stick with something else, works great. Night and day difference in temps in the garage, and works so much better with the portable AC unit we have down there now.

Was easy to install no need for adhesion becauseI had to cut and place inside the brackets made 16 cuts! One roll no need for extra! Might buy another roll to place inside just for added insulation. Have to say it works though! I’m in Florida it’s 91 degrees outside and definitely feels 10-15 degrees cooler in my garage.

Easy to install, and works great! Starting coming off after 5 days. I've reinstalled it several times and it never stays on longer that 3-4 days at a time.

Does not fit a 2x garage as it shows in the instructions. Already falling off the double sided tape, so not to thrilled with the product. It was a good dyi project, but it doesn't work to well and not for a double garage as the instructions state.

I used this item for the Garage door to cool down in the summer and that was easy to install.

I don’t know if it works it’s to cold in Michigan to put it on garage door

The info panel states 16 panel garage doors, 7' tall. It is half that size. Not as advertised. Don't waste your money.
