It works fine, I was bummed it did not come with the plastic drive holder but I'm not too concern about the drive moving once it was bolted to the case.

Fits like OEM, works exactly as it should
Items like this are just SATA to SATA connectors with a bit of modeled metal to keep the drive in place, but you'd be amazed how many I've tried that were poorly constructed. With just a small screwdriver, I was able to get the caddy into place on the first try, and my 2nd SSD recognized in my 2012 MacBook Pro. No rattling or errors in the OS when using the drive. Been using it a week and I completely forgot it was there.

Cheap and not built well. Spend a couple bucks more and get a better constructed HD Tray.

The case arrive on time, but the package was opended, so I'm still thinking it was not new. Anyway I installed without any issue.
