Good Looking Product
I am very handy and do a lot of the work on the house. It took me a bout 4 hours to install it by myself. I ordered 2 sets for my 7 step stairs. The most difficult Part was drilling the pilot holes in the handrail but besides that it turned up really nice and I ended up with one extra post. I used 2 1/2 slag screws to install it on my wood steps and it worked fine, it's very secured to the floor. The only issue is that the part that attaches to the handrail is not that strong but it fells good enough to hold it in place with no issues.Over all I will give it a 4.5 stars... I see that the price is more than double now!!!

Product review
No instructions. Holes have to be drilled for handrail attachment. Horrible product!

you get what you pay for
as other have said the connection betweeen the post and the railing is weak, poor disappointing. With moderate effort it will bend. The expansion bolts are too long. They extend past the depth of a normal concrete slab depth and do not catch to engage the wedged nutand expand. Drilling into the hand rail is not difficult as others have expressed, a drill press is not necessary. Strike a dimple with a center punch and use a sharp bit for metal. the screws provided to fasten the post bracket to the rail were stainless steel wood screws not suited for the purpose. After the threads deformed into a mush i substituted with self tapping sheet metal screws. The best part of this was the tubeing which was of good quality and the continuous weld between the bottom flange and the post.

Very sturdy and well made
We needed handrails for from our garage into the house and for steps from our porch down to our patio. These are very sturdy, well made and look very nice. They are easy to install with the proper equipment.

Good Value
First I would like to say that the product looks really nice and it matches the modern theme of our home. Huge shout-out to Hugo B. Aldana who uploaded pics of his finished product as I have the exact situation as he is and had to modify the railing. The picture shows my railing temporarily installed with tape just to know that it would work. Drilling the new location of the bracket is a pain for folks who aren't as handy as I am. I secured the 2 handrail tubes together tightly with clear tape and then secured the new location of the brackets in place with clear tape as well. The tubes are stainless steel and are very hard so I purchased stepped up drill bits from Amazon as regular drill bits didn't work for me. With the brackets in place with tape, you'll want to use a center punch to put a dimple on each of the 4 holes so the drill bit don't walk away since you are drilling on a curved surface. Fortunately, I have a drill press so that made it easier for me because using a regular heavy duty drill didn't work for me. After drilling the first hole, install a screw and tighten. I used a different screw as the original ones weren't as strong. I then drilled the second one across and secured with a screw and same with the last 2. Second picture shows the bracket and screws with tape still installed. I will post an update on the finished product as I will be installing 2 sets of railings. I gave 4 stars as you have to figure out yourself on how to install with no instructions and there are 4 sizes of allen wrenches needed and there was only one supplied.

Not a DYI kit for newbies
Needed a rail for my Father-in-law's house and spent a bunch of time googling. Found this one and liked the stainless tubular construction and mounting flange - turns out the rest of the kit is junk. This is not a kit for the average DYI person. All of the "hardware" is cheap and I realized this immediately but didn't replace the sleeve anchors (but eventually did) because I didn't know better at the beginning. I mounted into concrete stairs so a hammerdrill is essential. Then used a drill press to pre-drill holes in the handrail to attach to the support poles (stainless steel is very hard). Project took 2x as long due to hardware issues and the final product, while adequate, is not as sturdy as I would have liked (under $200 cost is responsible for that). Major shortcoming is the bracket that attaches the handrail to the poles - flimsy, flexible, thin, folded sheet metal. My In-laws think it's great - but something is almost always better than nothing and that's what this railing is - better than nothing.
