LEM Products Big Bite Motorized 30 Pound Capacity Stainless Steel Sausage Stuffer with Removable Cylinder, 0.5 HP

I make anywhere from 200 to 300 pounds of deer sausage every year. I have been through many stuffers and none of them held up. Broke every one I've ever purchased including the LEM manual crank one. I decided to bite the bullet and spend the money on the 30lb. auto stuffer. I couldn't be happier! It is easy to use, holds a ton of meat, and appears to be very well made. It made stuffing without anyone to help me a breeze! I made 300 lbs. by myself and the only issue I had was it shutting off when trying to do snack sticks. The stuffing tube is so small for snack sticks that it makes it really hard for the stuffer to work. On my first batch it kept tripping after just a few seconds of stuffing. I managed to power through it and on the second batch I added a lot more water to the meat mix until it was really sticky. This wont affect your product and it totally did the trick. Stuffed 25lbs. of snack sticks in just a few minutes with no issues at all! Hopefully it holds up for years and years of service, but after my first round with it I couldn't be happier and would highly recommend it! Yes, it's expensive, but if you're making a large quantity of sausage regularly it is so worth it!!!

Making a tapping noise inside of the motor box like the fan blade are something is hitting inside of it as the machine is running. Any help on this would be appreciated.

This stuffer works like a dream. Stuffed 20 lbs of summer sausage for the first use. Once I but the meat in the vat, I was easily less than 10 minutes and I was done. And the only reason it took that long is because I was tying off the ends with butchers string.

Worked great!! Stuffed sausage and pepper sticks. Just make sure to add some water to the sticks as one batch would not come out. We just removed it and added a quart of water and it worked just fine. Sure beats the old hand crank one we used before.

Very easy to use and clean. Just remember to keep the rubber seal oiled on every batch or you will burn the motor.

I have stuffed thousands of pounds of sausage off the end of the grinder. It takes two people to do it that way. Stuffing is now a one man job and VERY fast! I have to use it at the lower speed to keep up! Very, very little meat left in the cylinder!

I was very impressed with how well this stuffer operates. I was able to stuff about 400 lbs of sausage into hog casings in under 2 hours. The only thing I would change is I would like to be able to vary the speed with the foot switch rather than on the motor unit.
