Xerox Travel Scanner 150 Color Document Mobile Scanner

I am writing this to give hope to those who read the negative reviews below. As a teacher I need a portable scanner at my desk to scan assignments to send to parents or students. The quality must be good. I saw the Xerox Travel Scanner 150 and thought it was too good to be true. After loading the software, I didn't have the image I wanted. So I called tech support and had a technician work with me. We ended up loading software from the website but the result was awesome! In one hour last night I scanned over 70 documents to store on OneDrive for the coming school year. I haven't had time to try all the features, but I have already tried converting a PDF to a Word document and that worked fine. This feature alone is worth the $70 I paid. This scanner gives me the power and convenience to get material to my students in a fast and effective way. Don't give up if your first attempt does not give you the quality your want. Get a tech on the phone with you and see the power of this little scanner.

Works on windows 10 without a disk drive. Go to a website and just download what you need. Had no problems there. HOWEVER... every time my computer updates (quite a lot in 2017) I have to uninstall and reinstall this stupid scanner. I am so tired of dealing with this thing. It probably works just fine despite not being recognized by my laptop for the bajllionth time. I just don't have it in me to uninstall it and reinstall it. So I'm going to uninstall it from my computer and reinstall it into my trash can. Don't waste beautiful days of your life on your scanner's unreasonable disobedience. And yes, it pulls papers crooked and presents you with a crooked scan.

This was a replacement for an Adesso scanner that took a slight (and I mean slight) drop then stopped working. This scanner seems to be physically more robust. It makes decent enough color and grayscale scans, but the black and white scans are impossibly poor quality. It also has problems getting even standard size copy paper to feed straight - they always come out at an angle. And the software that comes with this scanner is just disgustingly bad. I'm still looking for a better scanner, this one really isn't very good and I wouldn't buy it again.

Pros:So small and light.Love the fact that doesnt need a power cord.One button touch alow you to do the job faster.The software thats comes along its great, omnipage is awesome, and PDF converter is one of the best i have use.Scan legal size paper.Cons:Only 600 ppcolor scan on a A4 paper can take up to 25 seconds, grayscale is a lot faster (13 sec.)Overall a great scanner if you plant to use OCR.

ok guys,I purchased this item as an extra to have around the house and also for when i'm on my business trips. I must say though, this scanner is awesome.Pros:set up was a breezeeasy to follow instructionslight weightincludes a travel case (nice)one tap scan buttoneasy to change settings in the OneTouch Properties programyes! it does scan 8.5x14 inchesCons:just wished that it could have scanned directly to a thumbdirve or memory cardNb. I did not recieve this item free or discounted. This review is my honest opinion after using it daily for the past three weeks.

I cannot speak to how well the product works because it was impossible to install product driver and software. I installed driver and software from CD installation disc which resulted in pixelated scans. I called xerox technical support and they provided removal tools. I removed corrupted driver and software and attempted to reinstall drivers and software from xeroxscanner website twice and unsuccessfully. I am dissapointed with the product, having wasted hours of time logging technical support tickets and support that did not result in a fix. I promptly returned product. Don't waste your time with this terrible product.

The Travel Scanner works great, when it works. I have to keep reinstalling the software when it stops (as it does regularly). I had this trouble withTravel Scanner 100 model also. Windows 7 and now Windows 8.1. This is getting tiresome!

Once the software installs and initial setup parameters are done. Scanning Business cards is a breeze, the process is nearly automatic. I chose this product because of size and what it could scan. Legal documents, business cards, etc.. The fact that this cannot perform duplex is irrelevant as most business cards the back side is not direct contact information.
