Phoney-O Silicone Hair Band
Bought this thinking it would be a fairly decent version of the original Pony-O due to the £11.99 price tag for just one. How wrong I was. I didn't want to wait for delivery from the US, plus the delivery and customs charges seemed a bit steep, hence why I gave this one a try. Shouldn't have bothered. As can be seen in photos, the metal inside is breaking through the silicone - the description states it is copper - now I'm no expert, but copper has always been 'copper coloured' in my experience, and this is clearly silver coloured. The metal inside is very narrow and very stiff to bend into position. While it kind of holds the hair in place, there is a definite difference between this poor quality hair band and the original Pony-O. I know the quality difference now as I decided that I would be much better off paying the extra to get the original shipped over from the US. Original arrived today and I would urge anyone considering purchasing this one to just forget it and go for the Pony-O and not a Phoney-O such as this.

Rubbish product don’t buy - mental so hard nearly impossible to bend into place you need a lot of hair for it to stay in some sort of place on your head !

you'd need really thick hair!
I got this to bend ok but it just falls out over a few minues, I've been told I have lots of hair so I dread to think how much you would need for this! Maybe I just need to practice, I might work with a thinner band holding the hair and then this to give the pony volume but I boughht this because I don't want a bump in my hair!

Does what it’s supposed to!
I was worried as there wasn’t many reviews with one being low but I’m very pleasantly surprised. My hair has stayed in all day with minimal adjustment needed. Will be buying again!

Only suitable for thick hair
It's a great idea in theory, but my hair is too thin and the band did not curl so much as fold. But it's only cheap so if you have lovely thick hair then it will probably work fine.

Truly awful!! Stick to Pony-o
Was absolutely useless. Could barely flatten it with both hands, so did not stay in my hair. Has a thin metal ring inside the silicone, which looks like it's about to come through at any moment. Complete waste of money!!

Too hard to handle
This product was so disappointing. It was way too hard to manipulate around the hair. What a waste of money.

This was awful, I nearly broke my fingers trying to use it.Do not recommend at all.
