I love how Zayn and Zinnia's relationship changes through out the story, if you have a sibling you can definitely relate to it. My favourite character is the ostrich, I love the way she is illustrated! Hope to see a story about her in the future.

My daughter loved the zebras Zayn and Zinnia. The whole book was beautifully illustrated and the story was fun and entertaining. An great message about overcoming rivalries and accepting that siblings have a unique and important bond.

I know it’s a children’s book, and maybe it’s just that it was such a rough year with racial tensions and political divide, but the underlying story reflects on ways we are more alike than not. Is a zebra white with black stripes or black with white stripes? It’s worth looking a bit harder before you decide you know. I love the story even without littles to read it to in my life.

This an excellent story for young siblings who can't get along. I loved the whimsical animal illustrations and the fun animal facts at the end of the book. I highly recommend!
